I just walked off the debate stage and wanted to thank you. This is the first time I’ve ever participated in a nationally televised debate, and it meant a lot to know that there were so many people cheering me on at thousands of debate watch parties and in their homes. But this campaign isn’t about Bernie Sanders. It’s not a baseball game or a soap opera, and it shouldn’t be about anyone’s emails. What this campaign is about is the grotesque levels of income inequality in this country and whether we can mobilize our people to take back our democracy from a handful of billionaires. But it will take everyone coming together if that’s going to happen.

This scene never ceases to amuse me
I know this image has been posted a billion times before, as it’s a truly iconic image, but Peggy and this scene strike me particularly. I have struggled, survived and succeeded in a male dominated field, and today I found out I am the first woman from my university to graduate with my degree (Robotics Engineering). Peggy, I will miss you the most as you have been one of the strongest fictional characters I have had the pleasure to witness grow as a person while I was/am growing as a person.
