Still sober!

Feeling feelings without drugs.... Is difficult but necessary. I pray this gets easier and I am grateful for the lesson (even if I don't fully understand it yet). Made it through the day.....

IRON HORSE, FIERY DRAGONS, CHARGING BULLS

When I was a kid, I lived in the woods

I rode my bicycle to while away my mood

Free and easy I played with my inner child

Together we would travel far, wide and wild

Riding fast on my two legged Iron Horse to battle

Against Fiery Dragons and Sharp Horned Cattle

In a colosseum, loomed by roses from our farm

Time was an armor shielding me from harm

Till the dinner gong raised loud the alarm

Cleansed my body in the pond, feet and arms

All became real when tender night arrived

Adventurous tales, in my dreams, came alive

The void opens wide

I miss all my vibrance

Back before the light bulbs

All shattered & left me

With glass in my feet

DAYS OF DRAGONS SLAYING

Today I kneel, praying at the front pew

Recalling everything I’d thought I knew

Visiting places, events more than a few

Of joyful days in my childhood as I grew

Plain as the new grass, purer than dew

Innocent, flexible, as the evergreen yew

Naive, fearless of danger with a hew

Dreamed of fiery dragons that I slew

Down molten lava from a volcanic spew

With the friendlies that can only mew

Times transformed me from a shrew

To a genius fresh out from the stew

Sharply and cunningly as to the brew

Ate, swallowed anything I could chew

Dug to discover, into the deep sinew

To control and rule by the skill I drew

And turned men into a slaving crew

Build an empire day and night - phew!

High up, away into the heavens I flew

I puffed as the dragon, its breath I blew

Till I collapsed among everything I threw

To patch up pieces of soul with a neat sew

Picking up the ruins and starting life anew

As the day I was born, green horn as new

Searching to find myself, simply to renew

Little lady, a tiny

Murmur of delight

Ever Feel Like You’re The Lord Of Creation?

Ever feel like you’re the lord of creation?

That everything is possible

and that nothing is impossible?

In a world of possibilities and probabilities

Possible probability or probable possibility

Ever experience a day full of Joy?

Everything is going well, no worries at all?

Feel so free & creative, dreams come true

Wars everywhere, but you are at peace?

Feeling loved & saintly? A good time to die

A good world that seems non-existent

At times, you wish you can’t see or hear

Then, you sit alone watching the sunset

You see and hear it all and ask, Is that all?

That day, you found a kingdom within you

everything changes

after that, freedom is yours

to do what is right

Fun game for Pride Month:

When you're at a event, count how many people with mobility aids there are. If it seens low, think about why that might be. Count how many disabled bathrooms. Count how many unavoidable steps. Try and find one accessibility issue at the event and afterwards contact the organisers to ask them to fix it.

Many disabled queer people are left out of the Pride month celebrations due to accessibility issues, so if you're able to be there, you're already in a position to make it better.

Don't forget your disabled siblings this Pride!

A RABBIT FABLE

A little rabbit asks the old wise rabbit,

“Where is God?”

The old wise rabbit replies:

“God is everywhere.”

“Everywhere? But I heard the humans cannot even find him. Aren’t they supposed to be very intelligent beings?”

“Where did you hear that, Little Rabbit?”

“I read the news. They probe deep into the ocean to find God; they dig and excavate old ruins and deserts; they even venture to the moon. But they still didn’t find God. Why?”

“Well, yes. They are very intelligent; they are good inventors and researchers, good explorers and searchers, but they have a weakness.”

“What’s their weakness, Old Rabbit?”

“They are too afraid to venture into themselves.”

“What does that mean?”

“Well, it means God is very close to them.”

“Then why can’t they find God?”

“Well, for the humans, God lives in their hearts. All they need do is enter their hearts to explore, and they will find God there.”

Searching, not to find

Searching, perseveringly

And you will be found

TIME AND TIME AGAIN

There is no time anytime,

sometime, perhaps, this time,

for another time of good time,

but there is a time every time

for an overtime to find more time

especially at times when time

is the only time you can time

an actual time to catch some time

and make time for taking back the time

to how much time you gain for the time

you have lost from wasting time,

while spending time for a little time

with your grandmother in quality time,

before time becomes a passing time,

just so a timely time

may find no time at all

to recover from a timeless time

for a moment of your time,

provided you still have time

for some spare time, to keep the time,

not get timed out

to save some real time

for the right time

in measured time,

time and time again

Met you 2 years ago to the day. It still hurts some how..... I'm glad it's done and over, I really should be celebrating. Instead I'm sad missing the person I knew you were capable of being..... This was my biggest mistake and I understand the lesson now.
