Horsing Around
Comic Con was always a crowded affair, David had been to enough of them to be well aware of that. This one, however, was a new experience for him almost as much as it was for Hyla, his centaur friend. It was her first Con, and his (as well as The) first Con since the various extraspecies populations had started to integrate with human society. So everyone present was on a strangely even footing for new experiences. Hyla, in her typical fashion, made a set of actual armor to wear. She did an exquisite job of replicating Saber's armor, and David followed suit by putting together a costume for Shirou.
Warming Up To The Idea
Gene woke up in the hotel room, and felt that something was off right away. He did not feel cold, but could not stop shivering all the same. A moment later, his teeth actually started chattering. He made his way to the air conditioner and flipped open the panel. "What's up?" came a voice from behind him. "Morning Cinder," he answered automatically. Her habit of sliding under doors had long since rendered him immune her surprise entrances. "AC got turned way up somehow."
Clearing Things Up
Percy entered the library with trepidation. He spent this period as a student aide, but was normally in a different area of the school. Today, however, he had been told that they needed an extra pair of hands in the library. And the library meant Stheno. She was not at her usual post at the front desk. Percy poked his head into the back room, and there she was, her snake-like lower body coiled up to fit into the confines of the small room. "Um, hello?" he called out.
Midnight Snack
The last thing John remembered was taking the sleep aid, and going to bed. For the past few weeks he had been feeling constantly tired, and while he did not think he had been sleeping less than normal, he did not have any other ideas for what to do. He was not sure how he would feel upon waking up. He thought he was sure he would not be woken up by a kick to the stomach, but that turned out to be wrong. After a second of sputtering confusion, his head cleared enough that he could observe his surroundings again. It was still dark out, but before he could check the time there came the sounds of someone tearing through his bathroom, muttering angrily.
Equivalent Exchange
Philip tried to go to bed early, and for a moment he thought that he was going to succeed this time around. This time, the interruption came in the form of Devi climbing into bed with him. He had managed to convince the devil girl to ditch her red skin and yellow eyes for more human tones, but she refused to drop the wings or horns on the grounds of pride. More pressingly at the moment, however, was her decision to keep her initial bombshell 'hi, I'm lust' body build. "Devi?" Philip called out. "Yes," she answered while wrapping him up in her arms. "Um, what are you doing?"

Summer Showers
The storm came about without warning, and so Jack and Yuki found themselves caught out in it without an umbrella or anything else that might have been used to keep the rain off. So, by the time that they beat it back to their apartment they were both soaked. Jack ran off to grab some towels, Yuki opted to stay at the entrance and not make more of a mess than was needed. It was only when Jack returned with the towels and she tried to reach for one that the snow girl noticed that something was wrong.
Over 50 Followers!
So, yeah. I now have over 50 followers. That’s just really awesome. I know I don’t really talk much here, but I just wanted to say that I really do appreciate you all. So, yeah, I’m really not sure where to go with this, other than to say thank you. (Now you know my dark secret. I talk so little because I am a giant ball of awkwardness.)
Don’t Fear One of the Reapers
Terry saw the crowd react to Dea before he saw her himself. Once she came into view, though, he understood why everyone was moving so quickly to give her a wide berth. She was wearing a sleeveless shirt and short skirt, both jet black, and both showing off her skeletal left limbs. When she saw Terry, she gave an enthusiastic wave that sent the people near her scurrying away.
Yes, you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, DOPPEL!
To any suicidal followers I may have: This is a sign to not kill yourself. You are loved and the world is special because you are in it. Keep holding on.
Reblog this when it’s on your dash. You will save someone’s life.
Sick Day, Snow Day
Jack was torn between fetching the remote so he could turn on the TV and having something to distract himself from his aching, feverish body, and having to move his aching, feverish body to do so. Life then handed him a third option in the form of Yuki bursting into his room. "Yuki?" He asked. "Why are you here? I told you I'm sick." The snow girl nodded in acknowledgement. "And that's why I decided to come by and help you out today." "You didn't have to," he said. "But thanks."
Double Dullahan
Collin had always described himself as 'not a morning person,' or at least he had until he moved in with his new roommates. He had already gotten himself up and gotten some breakfast ready by the time the dullahan sisters came trudging out from their room. Even in their disheveled state Ban and Dubh managed to look identical, save for their hair. Both wore their hair long to their waists, but Ban's was a perfect, shining white whereas Dubh's was absolutely pitch black.
Bundle of Feathers
Al and Robin were on their way to visit Robin's sister. A fact that would not have been lost on any random passerby, given that the red-feathered harpy kept singing and cheering about the fact. There was a time when Al might have thought of this as odd, but anymore he just accepted it as another way for Robin to try to keep herself on track mentally. Once they arrived and knocked on the door, the little harpy's excitement grew to critical mass. Then it disappeared all at once when a young man answered the door.
The five types of writers block
Inspirationless: where you have the motivation but just can't think of anything good to write.
Motivation Deprived: you have the idea, but just, don't really wanna.
Pooped: Basically you have no ideas and don't really feel like writing anyways.
Procrastination: Where you are SO PUMPED TO GET THIS THING DONE!! But, there's that other thing, and, your show is on, and, you'll just do it tomorrow.

Caught in a Web
Large group trips can sometimes be tricky things. When you get a bunch of people together, not all of whom knew each other particularly well before the trip, you open up the possibility of the occasional conflict occurring. For example, one of the girls on the trip might be an arachne and none of the other girls might be willing to share a room with her. There might also be a case in which there is not enough money among the group to get a separate room for a single person, leading to one of the guys being put in a room with a girl that none of the girls wanted to room with.
