Honestly considering deleting this blog... it just doesn't feel like the healthy move for me to keep it going. I'm just realizing that I don't want to put so much energy into being a "hater" or whatever. Like honestly, I am at a point where I feel quite indifferent when it comes to Lando and at times find myself liking him or feeling sympathy for him. I just want to support Oscar, I don't want to pray on other drivers downfalls for Oscar to succeed, even if I often mean it jokingly. That's just not the energy I want to be putting out into the world anymore and this blog seems to always drag me back into that hateful mindset.

Anyways, that's just what is best for me right now. You all continue being your little hater selves if it makes you happy! I just rather focus my energy towards simply having fun watching the sport .

as much as i hate that pierre and alpine had the penalties rescinded, its good to see a team stand up for their driver bcs my driver’s team is more than willingly to ALWAYS, without fail, throw him under the bus.

it’s not just the fact that mclaren didn’t appeal the penalty, it’s the fact that zak brown, the CEO, openly admitted that “yes oscar was speeding” like dude there’s proof to show he wasn’t.

this is just like brazil last year where every. single. person. in f1 defended oscar and called the penalty unfair to the point where they had an official meeting with the drivers to talk about incidents like that and rules were also changed (following that incident) yet zak brown and mclaren didn’t even DEFEND oscar let alone appeal the fucking penalty.

this team is so fucking ready to j let their drivers take the blame for everything.

this whole thing sets such a wild precedent bc why not just ignore penalties during the race and then run to appeal them after? even if not granted, it gives you an advantage during the race if you don't serve them. absolute bonkers
