ok so we all know year one this is sort of a variation of that?

the idea is essentially he grew up in a cult, one of those christian cults (prob doomsday cult)

after the cult got busted he would probably end up in a Foster home before getting inevitably kicked out (turned 18) and would soon become the crane we all know and love
