I know that Project Hail Mary broke the cliche of the alien- human relationship with Grace and Rocky. I think that everyone knows by this point that instead of Rocky been the traditional figure of an alien that we have seen in books and movies in which the alien is this entity that is a bit too squishy or uncanny and has more senses and knowledge that humans and they have all the solutions, that role end been Grace to Rocku, after all Grace can see, knows what radiation and is the one able to do the taumeba. However, I think that Bloodymary also broke a cliche.

I think that Bloodymary also broke a cliche I had see around in ships or dynamics between a scientist and a religious person that is making the scientist to hate humanity and the religious person to have faith in them, that love them. However, with Grace and Simon the roles are inverse.

Simon may be a religious man, or at least once he was, but he struggles to have faith in humanity thanks to all what he has live, in the start of Iron Lung he doesn't think that they can be save, nor the stars or planets, he even gets to think that they dissapear not the stars, and that they have got lost without remedy. It isn't until the end of the movie after he has time reflect and see value in life that he gets to accept that the little hope the information that the blackbox of the SM-8 will bring to humanity is more valuable that his own life.

Grace is a scientist, a man who life is dedicated to discovery, logic and science, but yet he has a blindly faith and love in humanity and life in general. I think in part this is thanks to his job as a teacher, in which he was faithful for the future that his students were going to build. In the book and movie Grace has faith in people in a way that is almost painful, which leads to many of his scenes with Stratt in which he can't understand completly Stratt's coldness, because he can't picture seeing the world as she does. When he wakes up in the Hail Mary he is sure that he was there voluntarily, because he could not even imagine otherwise, he in a way have faith in the version of himself that he thought had accepted to be part of the crew. However, when he realizes that he was sent against his will that faith crumbles, making him question the mission, himself and even humanity. Of course in the end his love for humanity and life is what keeps him going.

They are a unfaithful religious man, and a faithful scientist, with their alien bossy rock of course.

Megyn Kelly is truly awful.

She is the typical conservative who thinks boys are less than if they are aware/exposed to feminine products. People like Megyn teach children that feminity is a bad word. They use shame on children to indoctrinate.

Ask the 4th grader, they are fine. It's adults like Megyn who are immature and broken.

Megyn is smart enough to realize this is not an issue, but she must create outrage to have value on conservative media.

Perhaps the Holy Grail is nothing at all, perhaps the Holy Grail is the the nebulous concept of total wholeness and true satisfaction at one’s accomplishments. Perhaps the Questing Beast is the unending resentment we hold and the retribution we chase, resolution always alluding us. ORRRRRRRR maybe the Holy Grail is a sickkkkkkk chalice Jesus drunk out of at the Last Supper and the Questing Beast is a freaky critter someone needs to deal with RIGHT NOW. Won’t know until I finish these quests.
