“DEDEDE, WE’RE TOTALLY FUCKED.” He screamed.
“Shh!” Dedede interrupted Kirby. “Ye want everyone to hear us?!”
“But Bandana Dee will try to figure out who Santa is!” Kirby exclaimed. “Our cover will be blown!”
“I know, I know.” Dedede repeated, “But there’s nothing we can do to change what Bandana Dee wants.”
“Or… what any Waddle Dee wants, actually. They’re very simple creatures.” Dedede trailed off.
“But what will we do then?! How simple do you have to be to reach your goals?!” Kirby whined, looking like he was melting off the floor, he was clearly being dramatic and exaggerating, but the king let him have his moment for a little while.
“I don’t know, Kirby, but enough of that.” King Dedede picked him up from the floor, the puffball now dangling in his hand. “We forgot it was Christmas anyway, so we have to work early tonight.”

OR: Kirby and King Dedede have kept a secret from Dream Land all this time: they're secretly Santa. Meanwhile, Bandana Dee (Meta Knight got stuck with him) wants to hunt Santa down for wholesome reasons. Chaos ensues.
Happy Christmas! Me and @3nn-nn4 made a Kirby fanfic where both him and King Dedede work together as Santa and try to get through the night with a Bandana Dee that’s trying to catch them down. Writing this fic was a lot of fun, we hope you enjoy it too!
