I am cordially inviting all of you to post this in the comments/reblogs of any and every Al post you come across, on any platform. Especially useful for accounts who āteachā people how to use Al.
Bringing it here too because itās true. Also a reminder that this is your blog/profile, be annoying about your characters/projects all you like.
Please don't think you're being annoying for posting about your characters. If everyone thought that way, there would be no characters, including the ones found in licensed properties. They all start out as someone's OC. If anyone gives you flack over it, remember, they are a guest in your net-house; they're free to leave at any time if they don't like the decor. Let them go.
If you want other people to love your characters as much as you do, you might want to try writing or drawing them in situations that reveal who they are as a person. They don't have to be fully fleshed out epics, just short scenarios can work, even ones that would never actually apply to the character in question. It can also be a good exercise for you to figure out who they are too... especially if the character starts to "act on their own".
this might be my silly inconsequential take about this but I think you should support your friends' art endeavours in whatever ways you can and very vehemently
say nice shit about their art. fangirl about it, compliment the art fundamentals or the vibe or the color whatever. share their posts online
it used to be so easy to create an art community online in the past and now it's hellish. fight the algorithms. spam your friends art. they will either rlly appreciate the attention or straight up need it.
theres something slightly heartbreaking about the thought that the people around you don't care about your creations. by all means, you should create art for yourself but also, sometimes that art is a direct window into your inner world and when friends and loved ones ignore that it can sting pretty bad
that's it folks be nice to each other out there and fight to create meaningful communities

makeup culture is wack and normalizes a ludicrously high bar as the bare minimum women can do. I saw a ālazy"makeup tutorial the other day that listed 22 separate goddamn products. youāre supposed to buy and know how to use 22 different things on your face just for the privilege of being considered lazy and thatās uuuuuuh whatās the word? bullshit.

because Iām gonna be real here, the idea that 22 products is a minimum sucks but itās really upsetting that any amount of makeup is the bare minimum at all
I would really just suggest some powder foundation, concealer, mascara and lipgloss/lipstick, or tbh just mascara works too, but thatās up to you

no face should be ārequiredā to have āa minimumā of makeup. makeup has no health benefits and does nothing but fill the pockets of companies that prey on women and our insecurities.
makeup should not be seen as hygiene because it isnt. get that shit out of your head.

Progress is going to be a bit slow because on my health issues, that and I just got a modded PS2 and have been replaying a lot of Silent Hill 3 and Haunting Ground š
I'm also working on a playlist for each of them that I plan to post with new art. Warning, I've been listening to a lot of Bauhaus so you know a bunch of their songs will be on these lists
I totally forget that I had given Tristan sharp teeth like Nyx at one point. Both of the outfits in the older art will still be present in the comic
