I love you, fics that take months to update. I click on the newest chapter and have no memory of this place and get to go back some chapters and rediscover how much i love everything about this story.
I love you, fics that take years to update. I think of you fondly, and know your names, go search for you and see an update from this year and scream, diving in uncaring of any missed details (i will finish the update and read you in reverse because this is a treat you have bestowed)
I love you, fics that probably will never update again. Thank you for being a roman empire for my mind, thank you for teaching me about the ephemeral fandom experience, for inspiring a thousand million what if-s, for being a comfort read and a nostalgia read and a reread.
I love you fic writers, who jump into projects and stories with enthusiasm. I love you when you succeed in pumping out those chapters and that love doesn't go away when you stop.

If you don't know, it's a website similar to Wattpad where you can write and read books for free. :) Especially fanfiction.
Soo I'm writing this because I feel like Quotev needs more representation and hype, because I believe it's really overlooked. You guys should check out Quotev.com if you like fandoms, because in my opinion, you'll find great works on there that can't be found on other sites.

"Good Girls"
I just watched Good Girls the tv show on Netflix, and I just wanna know -- WHY ISNT THERE A WAY BIGGER FANDOM ON HERE FOR THIS SHOW??
Idk exactly how long it's been on Netflix to watch, but it was the kind of show that I had no idea would turn out the way it did. But I liked it overall for the most part, would I watch it again? Maybe.
But can I just say uhmm, RIO?? He's so bad, ugh but like mm, yk? Like Shameless is popular enough to have gifs of certain scenes, mostly for the aesthetic, or just having a lot of discussion about the characters and which is the most likable, and so does Breaking Bad with the huge fandom on here, but not Good Girls under its hashtag??
Like apparently, you have to type in certain character names along with the tv show's name to get gifs I guess lol.
When this show is basically the female gaze of Breaking bad? (In my opinion at least)
But I gotta say, I'm disappointed it's barely a topic on tumblr. I expected more, because well, the three main moms? Are all reallyyyyy interesting characters, so I'm surprised there's no character analyses about them.
Like I personally didn't like Beth, I found her narcissistic and greedy toward the end. Ruby was okayyy, and my favorite was Annie tbh. Mostly cuz she reminds me of myself, so I pity her, oohp.
Anyways, I just feel we as a community should do better, and give this amazing show the representation it deserves. :)
Periods should come with some kind of psychic attack so I can like knock the phones out of hands of people who listen to loud videos in public and pop the tires of people with evil bumper stickers. I feel I'm owed that for the horrors

I just found out a girl I knew in highschool suddenly passed away from alcohol poisoning, and not only did my mom take the chance to be obnoxious and snip at me "that now I better be careful not to get wasted" when I haven't even been wasted since the first time I was in 2018, but when I went into my room to grieve until I was well enough to get up again, she said "are you done crying now so you can help me clean" as the first thing to me as I come out.
Like geez mom, so compassionate. Love that.
