1965 Epiphone Casino & Vox AC30.
Here’s an arty shot of a Beatles inspired ‘guitar-and-amplifier’ combination to wet your whistles! Just think of all the guitar sounds that this set up has produced that you can recognise straight away…

The New Multitudes are a supergroup made up of Jay Farrar, Will Johnson, Anders Parker, and Yim Yames. Their new project is a concept record, bringing musical life to Woody Guthrie’s previously unrecorded lyrics. You’ll find it in stores on Feb. 28, but we’ve got the exclusive premiere right here. Give it a spin below, or @ teamcoco.com.
These guys would be a nice addition to this years lineup, right?!
…1928 Gibson L5…
gorgeous!
Townes Van Zandt - Black Widow Blues
from In the Beginning, 2009 TVZ
“Got the blues sewn into my jacket sleeve, got a goatskin full of wine..”
Amazingly, these 1966 tracks (recorded two years before his first record) sat languishing in some box somewhere until 2002. Townes was pretty much born fully-formed, it seems. This is one of only two tracks recorded with a full band; the rest are just Townes & his guitar. Beautiful stuff.
Got a morning full of make-believe
two very lucky people. and beautiful looking banjos!
