Top pic is from July 2015, bottom feb/mar 2017. Our progress has been slow and we've had a lot to work through, but she has come such a long over the years, even the past 6 months shes improved so much. Trying to work in a training level frame used to be a struggle, but now she's got it and we're slowly starting to work in a slightly higher frame. Keeping her hindend enaged is still though, but we're getting there
Had a really good intense lesson on monday :) Just focused on engaging her hindend, its hard for her since she has short legs and a long back, but she did really well with the exercise

Good lil ride tonight. Just worked on jumping a small line, Tana kept loosig energy right before the fence so worked on trying to keep her forward
Lil clip from tonight, still have lots to work on but we’re slowly getting there.
Been working on consistently stretching down into contact, we mostly do work in the walk and trot, but every now and then we add in some canter
Went for a trail ride the other day with some of my fav people ♡♡♡
Overall this was a good trail ride, but the horse in the back stresses Montana out so probably not gonna go with him next time
Clovelly classic 2013 & 2016 First show compared to the last show i did. Was so happy with her both times, she’s come a long way. We might not always get firsts seconds or thirds, but we always have fun and do the best that we can.

Was too hot yesterday for a lesson, so we went for a lil trail ride instead ♡

This was the best trail ride I’ve been on so far tho! Montana was perfect! She was a lik bit spooky at first, but she relaxed after a few runs in the field :) Love her sooo much! ❤🌞😍🍺😄

Had a grand ol time at my friend’s staggette last night! And went back to the barn this morning to get a few pics with Montana :)
Had a rough start to our lesson, but she settled down after and was perfect ♡ Got another show on sunday! Can’t wait!
And i have to try to find trailering to the next show…
She showed her true colors at the show the other day....savage.....
Had some lovely stretchy moments in the warm up ring, didn't really work on getting her to engage, just wanted to relax and find rhythm 😊
