Hi there!

My name is Freddie (she/they) and I'm a 3D and concept artist. I like drawing animals and designing characters.

I made this blog to share some of my art that's not exactly portfolio-worthy, but some people might still enjoy it. I also wanted to have a place to share some fan art, and hopefully find some people that enjoy the same things I do.

And in case anyone is interested, my other blog is @unicringe. I don't actually post anything there - I just use it to follow and reblog some things that I enjoy.

Happy (belated) Pride month everybody!

So yeah, this is lame but I don't care lol. Just decided that I needed to make something to celebrate. Still kinda struggling with some aspects of Ibis Paint X, like the text, but we're getting there!

I'm selling these horse adopts as a way to make some extra money. The palomino and red dun horses are $5 each, while the rest are $7 each.

Elvir Lions

Been working on these guys for a while, so I'm glad they're finally done!

These characters were created for @kaikree 's fantasy world, Elvir. They are based on/inspired by some of the next gens of my old MLP OC's. They are all around teen age; except for Majira, who is an adult.

Looking at these designs again, they look too boring to me, but I have been making an effort lately to just post my art, even if it's not perfect. At least it finally feels like I'm making progress. I've always been a mediocre artist at best, and my skills have seriously declined since I began working full-time. Lately, I've slowly been moving from bad to mediocre again.

BTW, if someone speaks these languages and I messed up the meanings of the names, please tell me! I have to rely on the internet for translations.

MLP:Fim - Next Generation

FINALLY! Here's my version of a good ol' MLP Next Gen. In this AU, the Mane 6 all identify as aromantic. They are in a queer-platonic relationship with each other and have these kids together. You can read a bit more about each kid in their picture.

The kids are arranged from oldest to youngest.

Did these designs as vector drawings to help me practice my vector drawing skills.

Finally done with this one! I've had this idea since last year, but I didn't get around to finishing it until now.

This is one of Jumba's experiments, named Honey (very creative, I know). After seeing the good that his experiments can do, Jumba decided to create more experiments with pre-determined "good" functions. Honey helps to protect the bee population of the area she is in. She uses mind control to remove bees where they are unwanted, instead of them being exterminated. She also helps with pollination and making honey.

This is my first completed illustration on Ibis Paint X. I'm still trying to get the hang of it, but we're getting there.

Thank you to everyone who voted in my reindeer polls! Unfortunately, the results showed that these designs were not as recognisable as I thought, so I decided to stop at Round 4. But that's okay! The whole point of the polls was to test the designs, so that just means I have to work on them some more. I'll definitely do it again next year, but with better planning lol.

Mane 6 redesigns

FINALLY DONE! This took way too long, omg...

These ideas are far from original, but this is how I personally imagine them. The image at the end is a (very rough) height chart for them.

Here are a few notes about each design:

*Twilight's colours are more inspired by actual twilight colours, and her darker head and legs are based off of roan horse colours.

*Applejack is (obviously) based on draft horse breeds. The only reason she doesn't have her iconic hat is because I hate drawing hats.

*Fluttershy is a flutterpony. Their wings are not very strong, which is why she is not a good flyer.

*Rainbow Dash is half hippogriff (based on a Peregrine falcon, ofc).

*Paint horse colours like Rarity's are often seen as less attractive than solid-coloured coats. This is part of what inspires Rarity to pursue a fashion careeer - to help others see their own beauty.

*Pinkie Pie is a small and chubby bouncing ball because its what she deserves.

I might revisit them someday, just because I feel like I can push the shape language even more, but for now I am pretty satisfied with this.

Doggust 2024: Part 6

And that's a wrap!

Looking back at the past month, I'm glad to be able to see some improvement. It's not a lot, but it confirms to me that I am still able to improve in the future.

I'm looking forward to next year! Hopefully it will be even better!

Doggust 2024: Part 5

I finally caught up with Doggust! This is definitely my best batch so far. None of these drawings are particularly good, but they show a HUGE improvement from my first drawings.

Some of these were still made while I was trying to catch up with Doggust, so they're sliiightly rushed. Needless to say, they still look a lot better than the previous batch, lol. Glad i managed to get out of that weird art funk I was in.

These are the bad drawings of this month, lol. I went through a huge dip with my art where I couldn't draw anything right, but I'm already starting to get better, I think. Even though these are bad, I decided to post them anyway to show my improvement.
