the way the stanxeno scene in the manga is gay but overall something the average reader wouldn't think too hard on because it's just one page. meanwhile the anime's version has stanley caressing xeno's lips and cheek for SO LONG the average anime watcher is forced to have a thought about how gay it is. awesome stuff

When you put it all together like this, you quickly realize how insane these people are.
Xeno was back with Stanley for not two minutes before he descended back into smiley goofy silly sarcastic teasing.
Yes they're all about to get petrified and the world is ending, but Stan came and got him 😊He's back with Stan 😊He's fighting side by side with Stan again 😊Everything is okay for the next minute or so 😊Stan 😊

Concept:
I do think it’d be really interesting if Xeno being part of and spending all this time with the Kingdom of Science put him and Stanley at odds which other.
Like Xeno’s re-discovering the beauty of science for something other than seizing power and finding that childlike joy for discovery that he used to have.
He begins to genuinely enjoy his time here and seeing how the world can be so elegantly re-shaped and bought back anew.
While Stanley is like wtf what happened to our plans?! Me and you taking over this fucking world?! Don’t tell me these star struck kids got into your head?!
What about our glorious take over…what about me? Cause if you don’t need a solider to fight your war then what? Are you saying do you not need me anymore?
You create the gun and I fire it that’s us but now you’re going down this path of non-violence so what use do I have in your new world….
…Ha, nah that’s a good one you’re coming home with me and I’ll set you back on the right path, Dr Xeno.
Xeno starts walking towards the future while Stanley refuses to be stuck alone in the past. And Xeno wants him beside him but Stanley’s too blinded by his feelings to see that.
His anger towards the Kingdom of Science, towards Senku goes from “you took Xeno from me” to “you took Xeno FROM ME.”
