Greetings! I’m an unemployed trans woman in Venezuela, practically broke after an emergency surgery to save my cat’s life a month ago, and I can’t afford food or transportation during the earthquake alert my country is going through. Sharing would help a lot as well!

Femme Appreciation Day 🧡🤍🩷

The path to discovering my true, authentic self was rough- but it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It was wholeheartedly the missing piece of the puzzle. As someone who adores self-actualization and yearns for community, coming to terms with who I am inside and out was life-altering. This is a huge part of the reason I advocate so hard for freedom of self-expression and pride myself in supporting queer/trans/gnc people in any way I can. It genuinely saves lives. Especially in a world like this, identity and individuality matters so much. The butchfemme community is completely separate from any other community I’ve ever been a part of. It’s truly like no other. It goes against the gnawing grain of this cruel world. Being a femme lesbian is my whole life, my purpose. It intertwines with my entire being. It is my gender, my love, my religion, my soul. It has made me and my intentions pure love and light. My heart goes out to every other femme today. We are the protectors and backbone of the lesbian community and so many others. Despite the torment and gut-wrenching hate we face, we still offer so much love and acceptance. The way we walk, talk, and carry ourselves is a work of art. The way we advocate for others and stand up for what we believe in is honourable. We are beautiful through and through and so incredibly resilient. There is sincerely nothing we cannot do. We’ve completely shattered conformity. We defy so many bullshit standards to the point where we’ve set a new one. So thank a femme today. We deserve it. 🩷💕
