I realize I don’t really write much omega!reader fics which is really a shame because I really enjoy omega x omega relationships in fics I read so far I only have one written
It hasn’t been posted yet but it’s a few chapters in but I think I wanna challenge myself to write more omega x omega fics.
There’s a level of venerability expressed by omega!reader characters that’s expected that I think I struggle to write
I'm going to say that again - sex is morally neutral. It's an action some people enjoy partaking in, like gardening or bowling or driving or dancing or holding hands or hugging.
And this applies to everyone. There is no trait about yourself that magically makes sex immoral. Not your race, not your (dis)ability, not your sexuality, nothing.
Obligatory disclaimer that obviously age is not included with this, because for some reason y'all love to assume sex positivity = pedophilia like a bunch of homophobic concervatives.
You're allowed to like sex. You're allowed to want sex. You're allowed to want vanilla sex or wild, freaky kinky sex. You're allowed to want both kinds of sex, or something in between. You're allowed to want to talk about sex. You're allowed to want to read about sex, both academically and smut. You're allowed to engage with sex in the ways that are pleasurable for you.
Sex is morally neutral. You don't have to feel bad for wanting it or enjoying it. It's *supposed* to be enjoyable. It's supposed to be fun. It's supposed to feel good physically and emotionally.
Yall im easily 20 chapters ahead of bismuth in planning and it pains me to not be able to share things with yall or talk about certain things that I haven’t put out yet.
chat reminder to just write whatever the fuck you want. write that overused trope. write that obscure shit that no one will have heard of. just. do it. your writing is yours stop depriving it of that.
honestly in the era of AI slop it is more important than ever for you to write or draw that incredibly niche/strange/unpalatable thing you want to make. the world needs the unique weirdness of people more than ever
I’ve been thinking about scruffing for the Fem Pack Alpha!AU a lot why? no clue but i know in some omegaverse it’s only for omegas in mine it’s for every dynamic. Often done by someone higher in the pack dynamic than you.
I think Wooyoung is the most willing to be scruffed he likes the floating feeling that comes with it walk him at the edge of it with a hand on the back of the neck massaging slightly in correction he loves it. Helps sink him into instincts, he out of everyone doesn’t care as much if he’s seen in omegaspace not as much as yeosang or seonghwa he’s pretty easy to scruff he’s at the bottom of the pack hierarchy.
Mingi likes it, beta instincts are more to help keep balance I think it leads to attempting to corral everyone into a space, prefers if he’s scruffed in pack only settings. Also relatively easy to scruff.
San would be next scruff the man and throw him in a nest. Make him useful in anyway you can. Scruff him and make him help you with cooking or chores help one of the omegas with nest building in anyway he can, he’s the better of the alphas to help construct nest he follows instructions well.

I think the next few are okay with it but in specific cases
Yeosang Is more open to it in anxious moments he doesn’t need much audience and I think goes to you more often than others in the pack. Give him a more simple task peel some oranges and onions grab bowls. He’s more content sitting and watching while in omegaspace till he feels like he should be doing something.
Seonghwa is down to be scruffed also in moments of being overwhelmed it’s a the most explicit agreement of mostly scruffing just in more distressed settings it’s a very rare occurrence does more scruffing than he’s scruffed
Hongjoong is also in the boat of explicit agreements of when it can happen he isn’t likely to ask for it but in more heated cases or in drops from adrenaline scruffing him can help the transition with the drop of endorphins and dopamine. He’s more likely to threaten to scruff than to scruff someone it’s a frequent threat to Wooyoung.

Jongho just doesn’t enjoy the feeling of being scruffed he’s doesn’t enjoy the haze of it and lack of control of his instincts he likes to be very intentional in what he’s doing and scruffing just leaves him at the mercy of his instincts to much and he’s fights it to much to hit that beta space smoothly and it creates more stress. He also doesn’t sit high enough in the pack hierarchy to do much scruffing so he more or less doesn’t. He will aid in any scruff induced instincts drag him to a nest, corral him with the rest of the pack, need assistance doing so thing to curb providing for the pack instincts he’s your guy
Yunho is in a different boat he doesn’t tend to feel much with scruffing he doesn’t really get much it doesn’t release tension doesn’t help with transition between things it’s just like kinda fuzzy like if you didn’t get quite enough sleep just hazy enough for you to feel slightly inconvinced at the fact that you forgot to ask for light ice in your drink. That kinda hazy. So scruffing him is kinda lost on him. Will scruff others if they come to him.
As the pack alpha your it’s harder to be scruffed I think the two people close enough in the packs hierarchy is Yunho and Seonghwa to scruff you into alpha space it wouldn’t be as long or as powerful as if someone higher than you in the pack hierarchy were to scruff you but it’s still effective conditions aren’t as loose more in moments of frustration heated arguments if neither side are coming to agreement and arnt willing to walk away then both parties are most likely to get scruffed so the conversation can be revistes calmer later. Otherwise in more stressful situations. Where being stressed is causing a lot of frustration.
All scruffing regardless of if consent was given previously to be done whenever (this mostly applies to wooyoung) consent is always asked “is it okay to scruff you” or in some cases “I’m going to scruff you now okay?” And a confirmation of yes or no is always waited on.
My consent and omegaverse ramblings

There’s always large controversy on weather or not consent is something that’s really given in omegaverse and for me especially as someone who’s been asulted and my consent has been explicitly ignored it’s very important to me that there’s consent at the foundation. To me in a lot of the way omegaverse acts is similar to kink and power exchange relationship lots of conversations about how things are going to be done with in parameters and check ins about what’s ok and what’s not. And where boundaries are, and something’s work and others don’t. So it’s then marked and something they won’t approach again if something didn’t work out. And a no means no and not a “just wait until your in heat/rut” not that’s there’s necessarily anything wrong with writing that it’s fanfic and people can write dubious consent as long as it’s correctly labeled in the warnings I’m fine with it being out there in the world which idk that’s a controversial hot take these days it’s just not my cup of tea but some people enjoy it and I can move on. But I want to write with a little bit more focus on consent and how things work between pack mates because some things are gonna be okay with some pack mates and not with others.
And the problem about writing fanfic here and actively studying to get into the film industry is I have to be careful about what ideas I put out if I want to be able to make it into something bigger later. Yall should see my notebooks.
don't know who needs to hear this but gender non-conformity is not only for trans people. cis women can wear binders and packers. cis men can wear breast forms and tuck. cis women can use he/him pronouns and cis men can use she/her pronouns. anyone can use they/them pronouns or neopronouns. anyone can dress fem or masc regardless of gender identity. anyone can take hormones and get surgeries even if it doesn't match the 'normal' presentation for their gender. all the rules about gender are fake and you can do what you want. gender isn't some finite resource. do whatever the fuck makes you comfortable.

Side note I think traveling is more hassle than it’s worth when your mated due to a lot of things haveing to be registered with the government in order to registered as pack. And it’s more a safety precaution to assist with cracking down on trafficking but in a pack as big as nine it’s a Pain in the ass. I think bite verification by scanning the bites and double checking that it matched what’s registered takes the longest .
Traveling with transportable nesting equipment is expensive cause it’s likely 2 or more suitcases of things. The emotional termoil of loosing nesting material because some how airlines loose luggage not to mention that good quality nesting materials arnt cheap. And the nesting materials provided by hotels arnt very good.
I huonestly think during the into the light tour. The nesting materials were lost for like 3 weeks and it was the most stress 3 weeks ever. And by In your fantasy everyone decided to just buy nesting materials after landing and splitting it into a few carry ons Cheaper stuff than what’s at home with less emotional attachment that way if it’s gets loss it’s less stressful.
I’ve thought about who’s mating bite are the most visible and I think it’s Wooyoung on his collar Mingi on the spot between his neck and shoulder blade Yunho’s is on his forearm Yeosangs is on his waist
And Sans is on his pec I think those are the ones Atiny would know the most about and
Hongjoongs this is purely because i have an unhealthy obsession with the man’s tiddies is also on his tiddie, Hongjoongs has been seen on maybe 2 different occasions. Seonghwa’s is near his hip/lower torso? it’s semi visible if his waist or navel is exposed and Jongho’s is on his ribs, atiny hasn’t seen it.
I think Mingi originally wanted it lower like his thigh(again super self indulgent have you seen that man’s thighs ass and hips) and then was reminded that the likely hood of him standing in a room when trying to get his mating mark verified before they can leave somewhere would require him to strip down ass out to scan the mark in the future and decided shoulder blade was better.
FPA! Reader has 8 mating marks instead of one because she’s the link between the pack it more modern pack typically will share marks between each pack mate meaning everyone would have 8 but due to idol work the group thought a pack alpha bite mark was better and FPA!Reader is the one who links the pack in the dynamic.
There are 2 on her ribs 1 on the side of her boob 2 on both side of her lower hip one on her wrist another on her shoulder and the last on her inner thigh flying typically comes with wearing layers of athletic shorts and easy to manuver tanks
I think the 2 mating marks being visible would spark up drama in the fandom in terms of pack alpha theories. FPA truthers will be having a field day when ever there’s an unobstructed glimpse of a mating mark.
Yoonchae from Katseye popped into my head when I was thinking about this because some fans think about if she had debuted in a traditional kpop group instead of a global girl group and I think something Similar would happen to FPA I think there’s a select group of fans who yearn for soft girl next door traditional girl group FPA. It’s not like stylist don’t ever style her cute but it’s not the brand of ateez so it’s typically religated to fansigns and fan events.
