I need to see your flesh. You. This is all I know now: want. I can no longer explain this. What I feel. Why I feel. What is happening to me — want's finally overcoming me — is irrevocable, as irrevocable as everything that has happened to me in the past — I'm going to continue being alone and not talking to anyone. But under this mysterious sign, which doesn't exist, where in front of me is only you…distant, ironic, cruel…, I need to see your flesh just once.
Kathy Acker, from “My Mother: Demonology”
I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WANT!!!!!!!!! I WANT IT ALL AND NONE OF IT!!!

“Lie close,” Laura said, Pricking up her golden head: “We must not look at goblin men, We must not buy their fruits: Who knows upon what soil they fed Their hungry thirsty roots?”
A wolf goes for a walk in the woods and meets a dog for the first time
when i first heard about the male loneliness epidemic i was like oh yeah close camaraderie and bonding between men is often discouraged in favor of competition or, if not discouraged, at least filtered through a lens of individualism that precludes deep connections. and then i learned what people meant by it (men arent getting laid) to which i say skill issue
even my commitment to love and loving behavior isn’t driven by moralism but by belief that love and loving treatment has an effect on people that transforms them into freer and more interesting versions of themselves.
This honestly looks like something out of a story book
Courtney Marie Andrews, from Old Monarch: Poems; “See”
[Text ID: “How rare to see someone and feel. / How rare to see someone and know / you are not alone, / for your eyes are theirs, / your pain, too. / How rare to truly see someone.”]

Rly enamored with that post that's like (paraphrased bc i can't find it) "this is a natural self-evident biological hierarchy. that's why we have to enforce it with violence" bc it's so succinct and so broadly applicable. Look at anything we take as natural, or inevitable, or a necessary evil, or regrettable but there's no other option - is there not? What happens when you try to make another option? What violence is necessary to foreclose all other paths? Who benefits from naturalizing this hierarchy, this essentialism, this economic system, this electoral system, these national borders, etc? How many things do you think are impossible (be it transgressions of sex and gender or be it socialism, anarchism, etc) because they're always demonized and punished and strangled in the cradle? "Natural" is a word that raises my hackles. How much work goes into maintaining "the way things are" (and always have been, and have to be)? How much violence has been enforced on your imagination, to keep you thinking that no other worlds are possible?
