Some early HFW concept arts

So I remember that back in the end of 2022, an alpha build of HFW leaked. It was deleted quickly, along with the video of the main quests. But it was interesting to watch because of some of the concept arts inside. I took a few quick and ugly screenshots, unsure that the videos would stay available long (especially when people started to post on the official Horizon Discord...)

Recently someone asked me about that, so let's share them here?

The original story was supposed to be different? Multiple important characters survived. Beta was in a bad shape.

(I don't think it was some bad joke with one of the LLM model, far too specific and a bit early). Anyway, I think that a few people could be interested to see these concept arts which I can't personally find anymore on the web.

A year ago I picked up leathercraft as a small hobby. Now I manage to do that thing in a matter of 3 weeks.

In the end, it's a simple hobby. But I'm starting to be happy with some results.

Get some good looking leather (like here, some "Shell cordovan Rocado" leather), make the pattern, cut, stitch.

Voilà, it's done

#Few months ago i purchased a duffle bag pattern. i have been working on since then. it takes more time than expected.#This weekend i grow tired of it so i decided to make a belt with the same leather and fabric than the bag.#Took me 2 evening and the result is quite nice i think #traditional art #leathercraft

So I finished this passport holder recently. I'm quite happy with the results as the leather itself is gorgeous. I used 3 threads to do a gradient of colours from brown to gold. And it was so annoying, thread would have their own life. I don't even know of it was worth it in the end....
