“I now reverse the gaze and record their reactions to me while I perform mundane tasks in public spaces. I seek out spaces that are visually interesting and geographically diverse. I try to place myself in compositions that contain feminine icons or advertisements. Otherwise, I position myself and the camera in a pool of people…and wait.
The images capture the gazer in a microsecond moment where they, for unknowable reasons, have a look on their face that questions my presence. Whether they are questioning my position in front of the lens or questioning my body size, the gazer appears to be visually troubled that I am in front of them.”

A&B: The Beginning of Us
I wanted to start a journey, a memoir of sorts. A jumbled, typed mess of thoughts, an array of pictures and gathered musing that speak to us as individuals and as a #happypolyfamily A&B's story began 5 years ago, a random post, a quickly reply and a case of Blue Moon. It was complicated, but sincere and meant to be. When you find someone, even when you're not looking, the most magical of things happen. My heart found its home, and B fell for A. Nothing ever happens the way you expect and that's the beauty of it. Our love story began but we knew it wasn't complete. Trying to see the beauty of reality we knew we wanted to expand our love - and our family. What that meant exactly, we had no idea. I can't exactly remember when we first heard the word #polyamorous or #polyamory - but when we did it sort of fit what we were feeling and experiencing.
