i really hate my absolute lack of identity besides trying to be someone that people like.

sometimes i feel like i dont have much of a concept of who i am. tbh my interests/personality/appearance only briefly returns to possible genuineness between spasms of shaping myself to be like someone else.

either that’s a person that i look up to and want to become, or its some preconceived notion that would be ‘attractive’ to whoever i like right now.

its like my entire source of comfort only comes in the form of desperation, when i’m totally devoted to another person’s life.

its really unsettling. i want to find closure in my identity independently but at this rate i don’t know how anymore.

im going through a bit of a crisis where i superimpose other, cooler personalities onto my own body and call them my own.

this, of course, leads to the natural consequence of feeling like an empty shell.

im trying to piece together my own personality behind all those layers, but I feel like my entire existence is just trying to be multiple people all at once, instead of myself.

im not sure what to do about this.

every time i go feed my six cats (ferals/strays who live in my garden) i just feel so much happiness and just pet them and smile because someone appreciates my existence

i just love my cats so much and since im allergic i cant keep cats in the house.

if you guys are allergic/cant have pets PLEASE FEED/TAKE CARE OF STRAYS IF THEY LIVE NEAR YOUR AREA. IT WILL GIVE YOU SO MUCH HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE BECAUSE THAT STRAY ANIMAL WILL LOVE YOU.
