“타이틀곡” by Dynamic Duo

타이틀 probably sounds familiar… it means “title” although when referring to book titles or anything else you use 제목. You’ll probably will only ever see 타이틀 when referring to “title tracks”

곡 = song. It’s different from 노래 though. 노래 refers to the lyrics of a song while 곡 refers to the song as in the melody, beat, instruments etc.

I’d just like to add the term “crépu”, which means really frizzy hair. In my opinion, as someone with crazy kinky hair, it would be a more accurate depiction of my hair than just “frisés”, which corresponds to a slightly looser type of curl.

Basically, this is what I would call “frisé”…

…and this is what I’d call “crépu” !

“cheveux” is really specific to the hair on your head. For body hair, we say “poil(s)”. This post also forgot about ginger people, who are “roux” or “rousse” :)

Also, in my opinion, “brun” is a more…I guess I’d say a more poetic way of describing brown eyes. It is very commonly used for hair, but I think for brown eyes, we simply say “marron” (basically, saying “brun” makes you sound smarter, IMO).

 And you can use the word “vairons” when referring to heterochromatic eyes (when someone’s eyes are of two different colors).

Especially in high school, our bedrooms are a place of comfort as well as the exact same place where we labor all day doing homework and various academic studies. Today, let’s learn a few words that describe various objects and possessions that we may have in our bedrooms in Korean!~
