Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! Campaign: The Forgotten Shelf Premise

The characters awaken in a forgotten nursery beneath a silver moon. They aren't elves, humans, or dwarves anymore.

They are toys.

(some examples- you can pick a different kind of toy- but keep in mind they have to be able to be mobile)

A battered teddy bear missing an eye.

A tin soldier with a cracked musket.

A porcelain ballerina whose face is chipped.

A wooden dragon with faded paint.

A stuffed rabbit held together with mismatched stitches.

Each belonged to a child stolen into the Feywild days? weeks? months? years ?ago.

The toys have awakened because something has changed. Their children have begun to forget them.

When a child completely forgets their favorite toy, the magic keeping the toy alive fades forever. They have one chance to reach their children before that happens.

Character Creation

Instead of choosing race, players choose Toy Type.

Okay! This is. The last post I'm ever making about this, 1000% for certain cuz if this ever happens again I am simply giving up collapsing into dust forever.

So it took me nearly all month but I finally managed to lock down a permanent housing situation, where I'm allowed to move in BEFORE the first of the month. I do have to pay a deposit, as well as cover temporary housing for the next two nights, however

Total, between first months + deposit, and two nights' housing, I'm looking at around 3200$ total, which I'm not asking for that whole amount because fuck thats so much money


Right now I'm just trying to cover the rooms (450$/2 nights) and the deposit (1400) ASAP, with the room obviously being most important since I need somewhere to sleep before work the next two days.

1) do this even if you're under 40. seriously. I definitely should have been doing something like this for years and I only turned 40 a month and a half ago

2) if you're like me just now trying this going "oh god i've only done 15 and i think my hands are cramping" start lower than 30 and increase by 5 once whatever number you're doing no longer makes your hand cramp up. I can manage about 15 per exercise at the moment.
