I was told to make one of these when I made my account but it’s been six months so I guess I’ll do it now.

So I didn’t get a chance to draw pride stuff for my characters as I’ve been on mandatory bed rest for almost two weeks due to horrible leg burns and not really been able to draw much this month because early onset carpel tunnel is just a blast to deal with. But! I refuse to be deterred from celebrating pride in some way so here’s some CANON queer lore for my characters that will be relevant in the final of the book! (In bullet points of course)

* My character Solstice is nonbinary and is always referred to by completely gender neutral terms, they use they/them pronouns

* the deity of sorts is referred to by it/its pronouns

* solstice/Evren are a completely asexual older married couple (as in sex repulsed asexual) this is very important to me

* All Fae use they/them it/its as well as a variety of neopronouns depending on the fae

* fae and halflings can reproduce completely asexually if they so choose

* my main character (Volkov) is romantically leaning towards other men

* there will be a heavily implied to be lesbian werewolf at some point in the story

Thinking abt how Eva stratt sent the Hail Mary into space with a pirated version of EVERYTHING, a shit ton of laptops and extra oxygen, and all the lab equipment you could imagine, but didn’t think to send extra food.

I saw your question about bloodymary, i wasnt sure if you got an answer so i figured i send ask :D

Im not like deep into the romantic side of bloodymary but i have read a few (i love me some platonic bloody mary fics tho lol cuz you right, he is my aroace representation yo)

BUT if grace finds simon first-- some are just throwing the sm13 like just straight up in space, zero explination, and grace and rocky collect simon. Other times they stop cuz the blood moon is like suddenly THERE so they go and check things out and find simon. Others just like wormhole that man covered in blood onto the ship

A common option is that simon was found by Adrian and was on erid already or is added after grace gets there. It adds some fun "hey honey so i adopted a cat" energy to rocky and adrian and then they go oh shoot now i guess we have two cats. but simon is feral alley cat and grace is neglected/half dead rescue lol it can be a fun time

But those are the main like genres? Some authors hand wave it away and go "i know it doesnt make any sense" and others try to build it up to make sense more

QUESTION

How does bloodymary work. I’m not super into the ship (grace puts the aroace in aerospace imo) but I’m genuinely confused how they got to the same universe in fanon. If there’s no real general consensus that’s fine but like is there a popular opinion on this?

Since knotting is usually pretty localized to the parts it wants to keep in contact (classic knot -> breeding), I think this implies that knotting vampire penis is now a feeding tool. Maybe it opens like a lamprey
