It's actually sooo crazy the way that Scott has arguably less regard for human life than even Owen--Scott has turned and attacked many people while Owen has still turned literally NO ONE this far--and yet Scott has so much rizz that he's somehow managed to position himself as the lesser of two evils when everything he does is 100% selfish. Scott wants to turn people who are willing rather than against their will now only because he's fed up with turning people who won't be loyal to him. Scott spent like 20 minutes in town gaslighting people into thinking he was a nice guy who just wanted to be left alone and just wants to help people because vampirism is really cool and fun if you think about it and then when he leaves is immediately like "lmao I totally lied about the whole sick mom thing for sympathy"

Meanwhile Owen, in terms of actual lives taken, is functionally harmless thus far but is so fucking off-putting and broody that he presents as the way more threatening one.

Also the way Scott tries to deflect blame is so funny like

Scott: I don't want to hurt anyone! It's you guys who are always attacking us first!

Anyways I love the vampires, loving these new developments, I hope Scott continues to behave this way I love him so much
