The Hampton Road Club: Bruce, George & Angelo - Chapter Seven (on Wattpad) https://my.w.tt/VmndtMZYLM Ex-prizefighters, Bruce and George, head up security at the Hampton Road Club, but they have yet to find the submissive who will make their world complete. Angelo has just arrived in Hollywood from the Midwest, only to discover that his world has come crashing down. The search for love continues at the Hampton Road Club during the silent film era of Hollywood. A world of decadence awaits those who wish to embrace a lifestyle filled with gin, jazz and endless parties. But while the times are freer than they have ever been, a certain discretion must be maintained in order to avoid unnecessary trouble. Being gay is one thing, but indulging in the pleasures of whips and ropes could be dangerous if those practicing such things were to be discovered. Creating a private, safe haven to enjoy such perversions has been the mission of Saul Liebowitz, the owner of the Hampton Road Club. There at the elegant mansion, many dominant men have been fortunate enough to find a submissive boy of their very own to love. To read more about the Hampton Road Club and all the key players who have shaped it, check out The Hampton Road Club book series available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and Pride Publishing.

(via NEW RELEASE REVIEW: Switching Places by Morticia Knight)
Morticia Knight spends most of her nights writing about men loving men forever after. If there happens to be some friendly bondage or floggings involved, she doesn’t begrudge her characters whatever their filthy little hearts desire.
What prompted you to start writing M/M BDSM books – and why others might enjoy reading them?
MK: It’s an involved story lol, but part of it is that I didn’t know M/M, or even erotic romance existed at the time, so I immersed myself in everything I could find. It wasn’t traditional romance and that’s a big part of what drew me in. Then I submitted an MMF for an anthology and when it was accepted, I stuck with that for a bit in the hope that it was what the publisher wanted, and would keep publishing me! But they alos published MM and I had a series idea, so I pitched it to them. That became the Uniform Encounters series (Which I’ll be expanding and re-releasing next year), and the rest is history. What makes me a bit different, I think, is that I didn’t discover it by way of fan fic.
Your series “Kiss of Leather” spins around a gay BDSM club. Did you have any features of real BDSM clubs in mind when you described it?
MK: I specifically wanted to stay away from the ‘dungeon’ aspect of most BDSM clubs that are depicted in a lot romance fiction and can be found many times in real life. What I dreamed of was a place that incorporated the elegance of the Victorian era, perhaps with a touch of an upper-class opium den. For those who are really paying attention and have also read The Hampton Road Club series (a secret BDSM club in a mansion set in the 1920s) or the Gin & Jazz series, the large mahogany bar at Walter’s Speakeasy is supposed to be the same one that Josh purchased from an antique dealer.
Kyle from the first book in this series makes custom bondage furniture. Did you have to learn any specifics about this king of work?
MK: I had a lot of fun looking at bondage and dungeon furniture online lol. From there, I put myself in Kyle’s position (much as I do with all my characters). What sort of things would I do to make this furniture unique and upscale? Part of the reason Gavin is so interested in Kyle’s creations is because they match the theme of what he, Josh and Derek are going for with Kiss of Leather. They want pieces the reflect the more elegant style and don’t clash with the surroundings. I think I approached it from an aesthetic viewpoint first, then followed on with practical usage *wink*

Pain Play (Play Series 3) finally here!
Yeah, so this happened. I’ve been very naughty and it took me over a year to finish the next installment of Phil and Terry’s D/s journey. Not gonna lie, this is a pretty filthy read, but there’s a lot of heart too. It took me in a slightly different direction than I thought it would to. But the characters control all, so I blame them. Let’s just say that Gerard and Marco are more integral to Phil and Terry’s lives than ever before.
Here’s a quick peek. Enjoy!
Terry sucked in a breath at the sound of the lock in the door. Phil was back earlier than he’d expected, and nothing could make him happier. He jumped up, scurrying to the door to make sure he was in perfect position when Phil stepped over the threshold.
“Ah, you must’ve been close by.” Phil laid his hand on Terry’s head, the customary greeting something that always gave Terry peace. “I could use your help bringing in the bags from the car.”
Terry rose to his feet and pursed his lips.
Phil shook his head as he chuckled, but leaned in to give Terry the kiss he’d been not-so-subtly asking for. Phil retreated then pinched Terry’s ass.
“Such a pushy boy.”
Terry narrowed his eyes. “Baby. I’m a pushy baby.” Terry frowned. That didn’t sound how I thought it would. “I meant your baby, not that I’m a baby.” He let out an aggravated sigh. “I sound like a goofball.”
Phil squeezed the back of Terry’s neck. “Actually, you sound unsettled, a little cranky. Is something bothering you?”
“Um, I’m not sure.” At the arch of Phil’s eyebrows, Terry struggled to get his meaning across. “I’m not hiding, I swear. Give me a few minutes while I unload the car to run things through my head, okay?”
Phil nodded, then patted his back before dropping his arm to his side. “All right. But I’ll help you out so we can get it done faster.”
“If it’s all right, Master, I’d like to do it by myself while you get comfortable. I think…” Terry gave a small growl. “I’m all anxious, like I’m trying to crawl out of my own skin. Which of course, leads me to think I’ve gone insane.”
Phil regarded him with a piercing gaze as he seemed to study him. “Hmmm. You know, a lot has happened in the past couple weeks. A lot of big emotional changes and new commitments. Frankly, I’d be surprised if all the new elements that’ve been introduced into our lives wasn’t affecting you on a deeper level.” Phil narrowed his eyes. “I have a thought. Once you’ve collected everything from the car and put it away, I want you to meet me in the bedroom.”
Terry’s eyes widened. He was pretty sure he knew what that meant. Maybe not exactly what would happen, but at the very least, that they’d be engaging in some play. “Okay. Is there anything about the food I need to know? Can it all go in the fridge, or does something need to go into the oven to stay warm?”
Phil smiled. “No. I assumed we wouldn’t be eating immediately since it’s still early, but I also wanted to leave my options open. I’m glad I did.” He winked. “Don’t keep me waiting too long.”
Terry scurried to do Phil’s bidding, only sneaking a few peeks at what Phil had brought home when he would spot a particularly enticing container. Ooh, my favorite eclairs. He opened another box. Awesome. Spicy tuna roll.
Phil’s voice rang out from across the house. “Are you rifling through those containers or putting them away?”
Shit. “Almost done!”
“That wasn’t an answer.”
Terry hurried along as fast as he could without endangering their party snacks. Once he’d finished putting everything away and tidied up, he rushed to get to the bedroom.
“Someone seems anxious to discover what wicked things I have planned for them.” Phil quirked a smile, his heated gaze giving Terry a jolt of arousal. The fact that Phil had taken the opportunity to change out of his street clothes and into his skin-tight leather pants only added to his need. Phil’s bare, lightly furred muscular chest had also thrown him off his sub game.
Terry snapped into position and lowered his gaze. “Anxious to do my Master’s will.”
“Nicely done, baby.”
Phil ambled slowly around him, occasionally trailing one finger with the faintest of touches across his skin. Terry never knew what part of his body he would trace, or when Phil would choose to make contact, and soon he found himself thinking of nothing else. He waited. Waited for the touch that would connect them even if it only lasted a few seconds.
“Time for another soft limit. Before I picked up the food, I made a quick stop somewhere else. You may relax and meet my eyes so we can discuss it.”
Terry lifted his gaze, but instead of looking directly at Phil, he glanced past his shoulder to their bed. He furrowed his brow. “Is that a rubber sheet?”
Phil let out a sigh as he rubbed his forehead. “No. It’s not a rubber sheet. It’s a thin vinyl material that serves two purposes. One is the tactile sensation when you lie on it. The other, is indeed to protect our regular sheet.” Phil grasped Terry’s chin between his thumb and index finger. “Did you hear what I said we were to do tonight?”
Terry searched his mind, reaching back to the beginning of their conversation. “That we were going to try another soft limit.”
“Exactly. Is there anything on your soft limits list that would necessitate the use of a rubber sheet?”
Terry chuckled, feeling a bit ridiculous. “True. And anyway, it would make more sense to do something like that in the tub.”
Phil placed his hands on his hips. “Do you think we could return to my original plan for tonight?”
Terry cleared his throat. “Yeah. Sorry. I guess I was—ow!” Terry grabbed his chest where Phil had just twisted his nipple.
“Do I have your full attention now?”
“Very full.”
Phil smirked. “Oh, you’ll be full all right. No worries there.”
