Sometimes I get the feeling that something is in my house watching me so I talk to “it” out loud like it’s a guest. I actually do genuinely enjoy having company over and keep a bathroom bag of supplies so I usually tell my imaginary paranoia-visitor it can sleep on the couch if it’s staying the night, where the new toothbrushes are, etc. surprisingly it does help
