Because I am so curious and also because I went in to LST blind but also correctly guessed Amber's identity around the three quarters mark of Ship of Magic, I wanted to get a sense of when all the pieces about Amber began falling in to place for other readers

I realized Amber and the Fool were the same person:

Sometime during Ship of Magic

Sometime during Mad Ship

Sometime During Ship of Destiny

At the earring reveal specifically

When Amber left a fingerprint on Malta

When Amber finished carving the Paragon

"They're supposed to be brown!!!!"

I did not realize at any time during the trilogy

I skipped LST and found out in Tawny Man

I went into the series already knowing Amber's identity

I had it spoiled for me sometime during my reading

#rote #the fool #i read lst and tm in a weird order #i read almost all of lst normally #but i got stuck in the last book with 100 pages left for years #untill one day i just decided to start tawny man #i had not realised amber was fool for all of those books that far #but in fool's errand i realised that he was amber #then after tawny man i read the last 100 pages of lst #and i swore i would have realized she was fool if i had read those before #but who knows #it's kind of wild to me i didn't consider it before #but honetly i got really into lst and didn't really even think of farseer at all while reading it #so maybe that's why i didn't connect them together
