Definitely the hot Willy Wonka on TikTok. He’s not weird at all, and I’m also not super jealous that he somehow created a TikTok following off of being a hot version of a nightmare from my childhood.

Alright, and on the tails of the prom announcement, the morp committee group chat got lit and decided that to combat A Night in Vegas, we’re gonna do...*drumroll*...A Night at the Arcade! The gym is gonna be our own arcade with as many actual arcade games as we can get our hands on, and oldschool Wii games projected onto the wall of the gym like Just Dance and other stuff from when we were kids. Video game character costumes encouraged -- contact Beau and me if you wanna be in our Mario Kart Hype House. Wario and Waluigi are taken.

Bro, it’s freakin’ March. I feel like I barely had a January and February and now we’re already three months into 2020? Where’s the vibes? Where are the hot memes? Utterly disappointed in this year so far…

Right?! Our only meme so far is like....the coronavirus. Which is a huge bummer, but I’m so glad we don’t have to worry about that in Walt. I’m already sick of texts from my  mom worrying that it’s waterborne when humans like, I dunno, hock a loogie into the ocean or whatever. We should start a TikTok trend and have it go viral or something!

Beau’s eyebrows knitted together in confusion at Moss’s question. “Her last name’s a dance party, she’s cute and a rockstar, and she’s not dumb and afraid of bugs because she is bugs, what’s not to like?” Beau asked, his smile coming back as he listed all the things he was pumped about when it came to his date. “Sucks about your date, though! Do you want to hang out with us? Just don’t make her like you better than she likes me, then I’d have to pee in your shoes or something to get even.”

Moss sighed at his friend’s justification. “You know, man...you do you. And hey, maybe this’ll work out and you guys’ll have a bunch of those gross little spider babies,” he teased, adjusting his mask. Cocking a brow, Moss chuckled toward Beau. “Thanks, but I think I’m good. Besides, wouldn’t want to cramp your style -- cause you’re right, I’d totally steal her, and I wouldn’t want to do that. For you and for me. But hey! Maybe I can find some girl who’s having a ‘Galentine’s’ or whatever.”

“Yo, is serenading your date like… chill? Because I’m kind of obsessed with the fact that bugs rhyme with hugs, I wanna do something with that!”

“Dude...It’s Rini. Why would you wanna hug that?” Moss furrowed his brow with a scowl. “But you do you -- having a buggy date is better than getting stood up.” He pointed to himself to indicate why he was here, hanging out with his buddy, instead of romancing some girl on the dance floor. Like, there’s no way she could’ve known she was paired with him when she decided to ditch, but Moss couldn’t believe that some girl would deprive herself of being his date!

Dude, that’s such a bummer! I’ve always wanted to make a band like, using basketballs to make the beat, the way they do it in High School Musical – and if that idea’s awesome, I bet your idea would be even cooler. Maybe they’ll do it again next year? Oh! Or maybe you could like, sneak-attack the stage and everyone would be so lit to see you that they wouldn’t kick you off, and then everyone would write-in-ballot your band because it was so cool, and then everything would be AWESOME. 

I’m sure Rini would absolutely murder me if I ambushed the stage. #SheScaryDawg. But I’m into that basketball thing! Maybe a band made up of random objects, one of which being a basketball.

Marj: Okay, so how many of us are stuck in a bathtub and was anyone fortunate enough to get to a pool?

Moss: I called up WU to see if we could use the pool that their swim team uses but they were like it's 'too cold' and 'chlorinated' or whatever 🙄 But when I TELL YOOOOOOUUUU it was mad scary waking up to choking on my GILLS man. 😵
