I think something worth noting in x men is that the majority of known telepaths are women (Jean, Emma, Selene, psylocke, sage, etc) and the most popular/best known male telepath is an outspoken pacifist and is respectful to everyone because they know that what men would do with telepathy would be disgusting

what I love about the pre raphaelites is that they love their red heads. I remember reading something about how at the time red hair represented innocence (?) or purity or something of that so of course these men wanted to portray women like that yk. I can identify about three different women in this picture though there may be more; Jane Morris (sharp jawline dark hair), Fanny Cornforth (really light hair), and I’m pretty sure Elizabeth Siddal (harder to identify).

But these women were models for most of the pre raphaelite brotherhood, and they had so much more of an impact than they ever get properly recognized for. Fanny Cornforth was the muse of esteemed painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti, I learned a lot abt her with some pre raphaelite scholars I got to shadow. Anyways these women did so much for 18th century art and everyone should be as obsessed with them as I am :/ I mean I am a bit biased because I have a stupid obsession with the pre raphaelites and I think they’re awesome.
