reblog if racists have no place in the beatles fandom
every now and then i think about the mccartney I press release and how scathingly bitchy it is. some of my favourite bits:
"fuck you john. and fuck everyone else too for never agreeing with my cool ideas. luckily i agree with MYSELF"
"why did you play all the instruments yourse-" "BECAUSE I CAN."
completely random uncalled for ringo diss. like he was PISSED
he was so real for this one tbh. Say That!
"and for the record i'm never setting foot in an office ever again. fuck off"
"kill yourself allen klein."
im beatling out

"Let's go back and get 'em, eh?" | The Beatles: Help! (1965)
September 25, 1967:Ā Recording, mixing The Fool On The Hill.
Early on during the session, the Beatles were visited by two members of the Japanese media, photographer Koh Hasebe and reporter Rumiko Hoshika from magazine Music Life.Ā While the Beatles began rehearsing The Fool On The Hill, Koh took photographs and Rumiko recorded brief interviews with each member of the group.
[My transcript, excuse the errors as the audio is low quality:]
Paul: āHello, readers from the magazine. This is Paul speaking from London England saying to you, āHello Tokyoā. I love you and, um, I hope the weatherās nice. Andā¦what are you filming, [inaudible] Fuji? Something like that. Wonderful to see you, nice to see you. [Rumi asks about The Beatles coming back to Japan]. Oh, maybe, yeah, maybe. [Where?] Oh, I donāt know yet. [Rumi asks something, inaudible]. Well, I am good. Yes, well, maybe. Okay. Thank you.ā
George: āHello, readers of the magazine. How are you? Happy nineteen sixty-seven! Lots of love. Uncle George. [Rumi thanks George] Okay.ā
Ringo (I think): āHello. To all the [inaudible] readers⦠Yes. Hello, readers. [unintelligible, possibly āThis isā] Ritchie. How are you? Uhm, thanks for the lovely time you gave us when we went over there. And maybe weāll see you soon, right?āĀ
George (I think:) āHello, Rumi. Itās nice seeing you when you came to London. And I hope your show on the radio is doing good and I hope youāre playing our records. Thank you.ā
John: āHello, Rumi. This is John saying āhello againā. Uh, remember when we saw you in London, remember that? Itās great seeing you. Leaving this little message for you. Good-bye!ā
Paul: āHello, Rumi. This is Paul McCartney speaking. I hope you can understand me because Iām speaking English. And I know you donāt speak very much but, uh, Iād like to say hello to you and all the people in good olā Japan. And⦠uh, hope youāre okay because we are over here.ā
