The composition of this took me forever

Below the cut is a little ramble about my love for the fandom and how I got here in the first place

I don't even remember the first time I saw one of Alan's videos, but I recall it was around two years ago. I know I haven't established a presence in the online fandom sphere until much more recently, and that's because AvA was the thing that got me into fandom in the first place. If it weren't for this series, I would have gone a long time thinking that I'm weird for loving my favourite media as much as I do.

The AvA hyperfixation hit me hard and fast. I still don't know why I latched onto the sticks immediately, but boy am I glad I did!

When I first arrived, The Box was new. People were just starting to catch on that it was Victim running Rocket Corp. It was a big transition, and I was happy to lurk and absorb information regarding the fandom's stance on things. I was a ghost for the longest time.

As I lurked, a story was building in my head. The idea would eventually become my first fic on ao3: Decompression Sickness. I actually tried to make it a comic first (I failed horribly) and then wrote a little bit of the plot in my google docs, thinking that it would just rot there forever.

Then, I managed to get two of my irl friends into the fandom, and suddenly everything changed. I wasn't alone anymore, and it was so amazing. I told them about my idea, and they convinced me to get an ao3 account. I did. Then, almost half a year later, I created a tumblr account

And it was incredible! For most of my time, I'd thought I was just weird, and that my love for this series would go unseen. I'm so glad I've had the chance to be a part of this community and celebrate the series' 20th anniversary with you all.

I love how accepting and open this fandom is. Headcanons are everywhere, each stick figure has as many unique takes on their design as there are snowflakes in a blizzard, and there are loads of awesome ships. It's just such a lovely space!

So, happy 20th anniversary to my favourite series of all time, and all the joy it's sparked!

Marmaid (Merman) Chosen..... Who's colors and appearance change based on the temperature.... He has two variations:

Ice themed - when the water he lives in gets really cold in winter/freezes

Fire themed - when the water he lives in gets really warm in summer

.....Who accidentally finds Dark after a plane crash in the middle of nowhere, Dark being the only survivor....... And Chosen gets fish for him.... But they don't understand each other because Dark speaks english, and Chosen can only make rumbling sounds and mimic words.... So they have to find different ways to communicate.... And Chosen is curious and gets attached to Dark, because it's the first time he sees a human..... Dark would be confused about this weird place Chosen lives at, because it would also have strange types of fish and fruit he never heard about before..... And they would have to live there together, learning about each other.... Maybe meeting potential danger....

Many people have pointed out The Chosen One has that weird white light power that they used once but actually! I think I found their special power and I’m here to tell you, The Chosen One is going to be the KEY to defeat The Dark Lord

So, in AvA episode 6, The Chosen One manages to defeat the Virabot with that light power everyone has pointed out but I’d like to bring attention to what happened a few moments earlier.

When The Chosen One is pinned down, getting beaten by the Virabot possessing the broken parts of the animation program (important for later) they get fed up and fire erupts from their body. And immediately later they do this

This golden light powered punch.

Notice how it doesn’t destroy the Virabot because they still have to end it later but it REMOVES the Virabot’s control of the giant spider made of the animation program

The Chosen One has the power to remove The Dark Lord’s control from things

And you know who struggled to have that? H4CK3R. He struggled to break Mitsi free even if he managed to do it in the end. One might think, he would be the answer to freeing everybody else but he’s trapped too! We need to free him first so they can free Orange so they can defeat The Dark Lord, following the Rock Paper Scissors cycle they have.

What do we have to so that The Dark Lord is defeated by The Second Coming when H4CK3R can n longer stop them?

We need to free H4CK3R!

And the only person that has the ability to do that out of everyone who is not mind controlled right now

THE CHOSEN ONE, CURRENTLY NO ONE

So my theory is:

They’re going to ask The Animator for help again somehow

The cursor will be there in the fight against The Dark Lord

The Dark a lord will send H4CK3R to kill Mitsi because she’s the leader and they think getting g her killed via her husband woukd be funny

The chosen One will get a flashback of when they let her die

The Chosen One will get in the way of the attack and save Mitsi

As they die, The Animator will get an idea

The Animator will redraw The Chosen One on his computer, naming it No One so that they come back before they get mind controlled by the Machine

The Animator will give The Chosen One their old name back

And The Chosen One will punch H4CK3R in the face upon their return (very cathartic) using their golden light power and free them of the mind control

Then they break Orange free and they defeat Dark

Everyone lives happily and The Chosen One gets their confidence back, becoming the most beloved character in the show
