do u guys know about butch lesbians. incredible stuff going on there
What tumblr "has" isn't "special" or "different" it's literally that they had fucking child porn on here and had to ban porn just to get their trash app back in the app store. And then the majority of men left. And that is literally the single only thing making this site better than others.
the exaggerated threat of ânot like other girlsâ circling back to just vilifying women who donât conform to femininity. but this time itâs #feminist to ridicule them bc theyâre the real misogynists for not liking makeup and pink
About this post
When you read Andrea Dworkin say sheâs never been more afraid then when she was speaking to a group of lesbians that were pissed that she called herself one despite not being one thatâs her literally admitting sheâs lesbophobic. She wasnât more afraid of speaking out against the men that rape, mutilate, murder, pimp, sex traffic, molest, or beat women and girls? Nope. Itâs lesbians holding her accountable for her appropriation of an oppressed community that made her shake in her boots.
When you read bell hooks say that lesbian erotica shouldnât be sexist against the penis because we all need to celebrate and cherish it sheâs proving her lesbophobia.
Iâm reading Mary Dalyâs Gyn/Ecology right now and less than 30 pages in she says she doesnât believe in homosexuality, that when she uses Lesbian with a capital L itâs about women identified women (the âcorrectâ usage) and when she uses it with a lower case l sheâs talking about the âmale-distorted version⊠women who relate genitally to womenâ. Thatâs worse than Dworkin comparing us nazis.
Why should I âseparate the art from the artistâ when it comes to âolderâ or âpublishedâ or âbrilliantâ radical feminist women? Â Why should I consider the fact that the foundation of the second wave was the silencing of lesbians and the theft of our culture a âdisagreementâ and not a deal breaker?
Why should I not recognize that for all the great writing theyâve made they were the foremothers of the anti-lesbian identity politics bullshit weâre currently drowning in?
And when you hear about how there were REAL lesbians who had major issues with these women why is it that you canât find any names? Any writings? Why were the most lesbophobic and appropriative radical feminists the most successful radical feminists? Why are successful radical feminist lesbians almost nonexistent? Doesnât it seem odd to you when you consider that the movement was built and maintained by genuine lesbians?
Any lesbian that decides not to read works by women that hate, fear, silence, and deny her very existence isnât ageist, sheâs sparing herself the suffering that comes as a side effect of being part of a distinct oppressed class of women.
And hereâs a thought. Why canât older women learn from us? Maybe even admit they were wrong? They can give up Lesbian and take fucking wlw.

Dykes-Loving-Dykes: Dyke Separatist Politics for Lesbians Only, Battleaxe. 1990.
Lesbianism isnât a choice at all. Not a choice out of love and passion OR political analysis. Not a choice at all. If someone chooses lesbianism then they were never a lesbian to begin with. In the same way that a lesbian who slept with men first because of heteronormativity was never het, she was a lesbian influenced to try things with men. Lesbianism is solely about attraction. Even if itâs not acted upon. A lesbian can have been with men before as long as she was never attracted to him and it was solely pressured by him and/or broader society. But a woman who has genuinely been attracted to men before cannot choose lesbianism. Thatâs homophobia. Sheâs still bisexual even when she doesnât act on the male attraction. Even when she abstains from men. Still bisexual.
Where do you draw the line? How much are you willing to tolerate? When does too much become too much? When do you consider it enough? Is it after a second, after a minute, after an hour? Do you let it go on for days? Do you wait for weeks, for months? For years? Do you let it go on? Donât you think you deserve better? Do you think it is normal, natural, the only thing you can expect? How much is too much? Where do you draw the line? When do you say stop? What is the thing which makes you ask for respect? At which point do you stand up for yourself? Do you know where your line is? Do you even have a line? Have you thought about having a line?
This Pride donât forget your brothers and sisters fighting for their rights all over the world.Â
I'm like if a 14 year old got older
3 years of the death of Sarah Hegazi today. she was an egyptian lesbian activist who was arrested and tortured after flying a rainbow flag in a concert in Cairo, in 2017.
she was granted asylum in Canada after leaving prison and never really recovered mentally. she was isolated and depressed. she committed suicide on june 14th 2020.
donât let anyone fool you that lesbians are the âless oppressed of the LGBTâ. donât let anyone fool you that our pain isnât real. that straight men can suffer the same things as us because they said they are âqueerâ.
donât let women like Sarah be ever forgotten.
growing up is an endless process of me looking back at younger versions of myself and being likeâŠ. wow she was so young. but look how well she did with what she knew
how lovely to think that there is a future me out there thinking this exact same thing about present me
