How can someone write this and think 'yeah, that's a good take'? 😮💨
“skip” i’ll kill you
I’m skipping manicures the same way I’m skipping shoving my hand into a blender
Those curious babies approached me gingerly to check me out, then lay down in my vicinity. I was so flattered.
it feels so disingenuous whenever i see posts about how feminists are causing trans murders because they always make it seem like trans people are getting shot by lesbians who hate penises and not by violent men targeting sex workers

Until death, all defeat is psychological.
stay away from people who constantly do things that bother you after you already addressed the situation, they don’t care
you've met me at a very "yeah i'm trying to work on that" time in my life
So we all know that using "white" as an adjective alongside "women" carries necessary connotations regarding life experiences, privilege, prejudice, and social status that would be lost if you excluded the racial qualifier. Because white women, while still being part of the oppressed female class, still benefit from white privilege and the oppression of people of color.
However, you aren't allowed to specify "trans" woman, even though that distinction is equally important for providing context around previous social circumstances that directly impact current behaviors. Living your most formative years as male plays an integral role in socialization, upbringing, prejudice, attraction, privilege, etc. because trans women do not start from a blank slate once their transition begins. They still retain the cognition, biases, and expectations that growing up male taught them, and still retain their male privilege until they fully pass as women.
The issue is compounded when white trans women are generalized as "white women", because white women, while benefitting from racism, have never experienced life through a white male lens the way white trans women have. This leads to very important distinctions in how each group's racism manifests—namely the level of social power their sex has given them that contributes to contrasting levels of entitlement, superiority, and enabling from others.
These distinctions matter, because the context surrounding them matters, because an upbringing decided by privilege matters in discussions surrounding oppression.
If you are perfectly fine with discussing trans women's former maleness in relation to how that maleness harmed them, but refuse to acknowledge (and view any acknowledgement as transphobic) that their maleness has also given them privilege over women, you are defending a position that is fundamentally disingenuous to advance a cherry-picked narrative.
i just feel like friendship is one of the most expansive and beautiful forms of love you can ever experience and i wish we gave it more credit
continuing the trend...
This is so funny to me
