Ok, so Paramore's After Laughter​ album reminds me so much of ATWQ Hear me out now; I know it ain't Duke Ellington, Ornette Coleman jazz shit usually associated with atwq, I get that. But like, the meanings of the songs and just the kinda funky but undermining sombre vibe of the album etc etc makes me couple it with atwq??? For example; Idle Worship totally makes me think of Ellington's unspoken distaste as to how lemony is infatuated with her. Like, I know it's polysemic so that's the kinda vibe I'm getting off her at moments throughout the book And like, Rose Coloured Boy, totally moxie and lemony. Not in a romantic sense, but platonic excitement of a new dude making the town a bit more exciting but then still moments of sadness of her yearning for her maw. Idk just a thought. Someone discuss with me about atwq pleaseeeeee
