So I was looking through my old Ibis Paint projects a moment ago, and it whipped me back to March of this year, where I was so confused by Shakes' apartment layout and size that I tried to estimate the size using him 😭

(There were like, three teal Shakes lined up in the first photo, idk why he ain't there.)

Also took a bunch of screenshots throughout all the episodes where his apartment is shown and I made a lot of little notes on it:

There were more photos that I analyzed, but I've hit the 10-photo limit, so I can't show them all :')

Even made a whole document in my Notes App dedicated to it, here it is:

• Shakes' apartment width = 17 feet

• Shakes' apartment length = 23 feet

• 17 x 23 = 391 Square Feet (sheesh, no wonder the other Strikas say it's cramped)

Needs to have:

• 2 Balconies

• A living room

• A small kitchen

• A bathroom

• A bedroom

Extra info:

• This is an apartment at the end of an apartment building.

• Has a brick wall separating the living room & kitchen.

• The bedroom has a window.

• The door is said to be opposite to the balcony connected to the living room, but with the property being at the end of the building, that makes zero sense. So it'll be beside the TV with a few extra feet on the side for a hallway.

• Breakfast nook should be 5ft long and 4ft wide. Main balcony connected to the living room should be 6ft long and 5ft wide.

Those notes are only the beginning, I was so determined to make it accurate, that I analyzed each piece of furniture and looked for the ones that looked exactly like them online to find their diameters. I'll spare you on those, though...

Least favorite Supa Strikas episodes?

Hmm, this a good question because I really enjoyed the series as a whole, and I personally enjoyed all the crazy plotlines, so I wouldn't outright say I have a 'least favourite episode'. If I had to pick, it would be any episode where Supa Strikas are technically cheating but it gets brushed aside by the plot because they're the protagonists.

Here are some of the worst examples imo:

S1ep5 Blasts from the Past - when they (Shakes & El Matador) couldn't beat Del Los Santos so they went back to his home town to try and collect info on him when he explicitly told them not to??? I mean, you can do a bit of research on the opposition but they went a bit far.

S2ep4 Spaceballs - I think this is the most egregious example of Supa Strikas (mostly Shakes) cheating because he (a) 'accidentally' sneaking into Orion's training facility, then (b) they used a similar facility to train for their next match . That security guard was kinda stalking them, but still 🤷

S3ep13 Dooma's Day - Shakes going to ReFab, looking through the opposition's medical records 💀Do I even need to say it smh. If any other team had done that to Supa Strikas smh. Although Dooma is/was unhinged and was a potential danger to everyone, it's kinda a case of two wrongs don't make a right, but the ReFab doctor hypnotising Shakes was definitely wrong. Istg so many people should be in jail in this show lol

S5ep6 Icy Grip - I think this episode was the one where Iron Tank had found some guy frozen from the Ice Age and Supa Strikas found out. Although this another case of 'accidental cheating/espionage' but c'mon.

S7ep7 Dry Spell - Bro Hydra are allowed to have a private training centre thingy at the bottom of the ocean, they have the Secret Training Compound (STC) ffs, but that isn't even a secret anymore. They snuck in, used it, lied to both their coaches and then beat Hydra. Someone call the Super League Disciplinary Board!

There are many other examples where similar things happened, but these ones are pretty bad.

Other than that, these episodes are generally alright apart from the Del Los Santos one. I can't believe they beat my GOAT 🥲.

Skarra:

General Headcanons:

Has his nipples pierced 'cause i said so.

Has a sports car collection similar to El Matador's but his old sleek Cadillac still holds a sacred spot somehow.

Likes slow, soft, casual rock playing in the background no matter what he's doing so he has a built in(the house i mean) sound system, Dee once used it to harass his neighbors with the entire Bee Movie soundtrack.

Speaking of her she basically lives with him, her parents are more often than not out on a business trip or holdiay so she has a room in the mansion. She swears up and down that Skarra's a loser and she hates him but she's called him mom at least twice.

İt took some time for Dingaan and Dee to warm up to eachother but they get along suprisingly well now.

Skarra watches her pick up his habits and mannerisms sometimes it makes him proud sometimes it makes him want to call up his relatives and demand they drop whatever unimportant shit it is that they're doing and get over here right fuckin now or god help him-

He also had negletfull parents so they relate to eachother in a way that they can't quite talk about, when he pictures his parents he pictures them by the door their suitcases in hand he dosen't want that for Dee.

Has a few modeling gigs in the off season but his fashion sense is still terrible, we all saw that gold chain.

Glued to his dogs. You know i'm right.

They're both girls and the names are Bark and Börk.

Still has the hand-knit sweater Shakes forgot in his car once, the colors long faded but he still pulls it on when the nights get cold.

Has the picture of the both of them back to back in his wallet, the old faded, frail polaroid looks out of place in the sleek black leather but he can't bare to take it out.

(That headcanon isn't mine)

Keeps his house spotless clean at all times which is quite impressive when you think about the fact that he has two dogs and one Dee.

Has a very unstable insomnia some nights he'll sleep like a log and some nights he won't catch a wink.

Films thirst traps to deal with his emotions.

Wears Baccrat Rouge, it goes well with his chemistry so he smells warm and woodsy instead of sythetic, Dee says he smells like a dumpster fire, Dingan says he smells like a bonefire, Dooma says he smells like wet logs, Vince tells him to GET BACK TO PRATİCE AND WHY İS THERE A-oh hi Dee.

Shakes x Skarra

Ship Headcanons:

Okay look we all know very damn well that thesse two are gonna need some help on the relationship im talking like profesional help.

There is some point in Couple's Counselling where their theraphist snaps and just goes 'Look Skarra i can either help you get over Shakes or get with him, not both!' Or 'You either stop pretending you don't care about this or start caring!'

İt gets easier after that.

Verg big on PDA once they go public (which -let's face it- won't take long) arm across shoulders, hand in the other's back pocket, kiss on the cheek, hip bumps, hand holding, etc. etc.

Extending on that both teams have stopped letting their respective players sit on the front row whenever they come to eachother's matches since Skarra and Sahakes' new favourite goal celebration is tugging the other down and smooching.

Vince visibly gagged the first time they did it, Coach called Shakes' mom.

The dogs warm up to Shakes surprisingly quickly Skarra suspects he let them have chesse or something.

Whenever they argue both dogs take Shakes' side just to piss him off.

After their first Big argument Shakes left the house to try and give both of them some space but they both have major seperation anxiety do he came back 20 mins. later to a...quite distraught Skarra.

They made it a rule that no matter how mad they are instead of leaving they'll stick by eachother and when it's time to actually talk it through they'll be cıvıl about it.

Dee's reaction to them dating was looking Skarra dead in the eyes and saying 'you don't deserve him' that dosen't mean she likes him though, she tolarates him at best.

Spenza looked Skarra dead in the eyes and said 'i'm onto you buddy', he never stopped looking for proof of some evil plan and who can blame him really.

Shakes is just as childish and Skarra's just as insuffrable.

Slowly both pairs get more used to eachother but they don't show it.

Spenza is real good with kids though and Dee appriciates a good mystery story. Begrudging Spenza Dee friendship anyone?

They like to bring eachother flowers because that's what normal couples do, right?

Both praise themselves on being the only one (?) able to understand the other, they also love showing off their partner

Skarra is a legs guy, he also appriciates a nice pair of lips, Shakes is more into the shoulders he can lean on and the ass he can slap.

The teams FREAKED when they found out Supa Strikas were all like 'Ha-Ha nice one Shakes/say sike rn/ c'mon dude tell me ur smarter than that!' Klaus thought it was the ultuimate enemies to lovers story.

İ.U was more of a 'HAH you owe me thirty bucks assmunch/Saw that one coming/well this ought to be interesting'.

Nicknames are:. Bro + every insult ever with like a honey thrown in during a tender moment.

Okay so y'all are gonna come at me for this but thesse guys bone like conservative 70 year olds, despite both having play boy type personalitys they never quite got it up.

Both are all talk and a wobbly walk basically.

They think having the lights off is kinky, Skarra has a thing for hair pulling he tried once and they had to stop just so he could pull his fingers out of that bird nest. Shakes is madly into hickies both giving and receiving.

First time happened after the first argument prolly not a good mindset to roll in the hay with but i think we should accept the fact that they'll never have a perfectly non-toxic relationship.

Re watching episodes of Supa Strikas (not in order because I watched in order 3 times)

Tell me why the Super League thought during the episode The crunch, letting SS face 3 of the most mentally and physically draining teams, within the span of a week was alright, they could have tried harder to change it, but nooo, SS has to go through Hydra, Iron Tank (were Thor purposefully injured Rasta because of Dooma's bribe), and then Invincible United, that entire episode would have been way too intense if not for the comedic moments and Klaus helping release the tension. This isn't even my main opinion for that episode, because there is also so much more I want to say.

Sharra (Shakes x Skarra) Headcanons (AKA an AU where things are different )

*This is purely an AU and should be treated as one*

They are childhood friends to enemies to enemies with benefits to lovers. You cannot change my mind.

Pre-relationship (enemies )

They constantly shit complement each other to their teammates, to the point that Klaus has a whole tally book and Dingaan's whole recording app is filled with hours long recordings of Skarra talking about Shakes. 

Every match ends in an argument between the both and they constantly distract each other on the field. Someone eventually stops them before it gets physical, if you know what I mean;)

Nandi also records everything Shakes says about Skarra because she knows they are going to get together eventually and is already planning to play it at their wedding ( QUEEN!! )

They still have each other's numbers but never text. 

After the community centre episode, Shakes got so mad at Skarra that he completely blew up on him (The community centre was the place that they both played together when they were younger)

In most arguments, Shakes tends to bring up their past while Skarra tends to throw the most heartbreaking insults. They both act like they don't care but it keeps them up at night.

Somewhere in between (enemies with benefits )

The first time they kiss ( refer to the previous one-shot) happens sometime after Sleight of foot but before Shakes on a train.

Every time they see each other after that, they make out in secret.

Live and kicking changes A LOT . They flirt a bit too much. (since they came from the same city, Skarra came in the same plane as Shakes and El Matador. They 100% make out in the bathroom after El Matador falls asleep )

No Man's Land was their first time. Everyone had to stay one night at the hotel before the ultimate match. They hadn't seen each other at all off-season so that night, Shakes goes to Skarra's room and they insult each other into doing the deed.

They never go to each other's house as they feel it's a bit too personal. They are still enemies, afterall.

They need a place to let out some steam, so they buy a Hotel Suite under a fake name. This is used as an excuse to start texting each other. Whenever they need to release some steam, they have a person and place to go now.

After every time, they say " I hate you " to each other. soon enough, it becomes their new catchphrase, they even say it sometimes on the field.

Eventually, the Suite becomes a second home, filled with personal possessions and they start spending more time with each other, watching movies, playing games, eating takeout. 

Top and Bottom depend on the day. If Skarra is angry, he tops. If Shakes is angry, He tops. If Skarra did something to Shakes or his team, Skarra has to bottom at least 3 times in a row until Shakes forgives him (aka allows him to top).

They also tend to sext A LOT. 

During Klaus Inspection, Dingaan slept in the closet while they did it in the bathroom.

There are a lot of tender moments between the two, like the one time Skarra came to the suite only to find that Shakes already slept while waiting for him. Instead of waking him up, Skarra took off his shoes and fell asleep beside him.

After every foul, Skarra laughs but is always the one to put medicine on the wounds. 

They secretly come to each other's games, telling their teams that they're ' spying on the opposition'. Neither of them knows.

The teams get Suspicious and start an IU + SS Group chat together to try and find out why their young strikers are suddenly acting sus. None of them ever figure it out.  

Skarra likes to cover Shakes with hickeys and the team goes crazy trying to figure out who the secret lover is.

Just because they start fucking doesn't mean that they fight any less. They actually fight more and every argument ends in hate sex. 

Shakes does not drink often but Skarra does and has a really high tolerance. 

When Skarra broke his leg, Shakes laughed at him for a week straight. As soon as his leg got better,he made sure Shakes couldn't walk for two days.

Neither of them saw each other for the whole of Your Latest Trick, but they kept texting each other constantly. Skarra even promised to fuck Shakes in the new car. Too bad it was too small ;)

Food for thought happens and they fuck at least 3 times during that whole episode.

During Strika Cord, Skarra actually tries to convince Vince to not send in a fake Jomo but Vince does it anyway. Knowing it will hurt Shakes, Skarra sends him a heads up with a clue, telling him to not believe in Strangers. After the incident, Skarra avoids Shakes in guilt but Shakes forgives him. They both realise that they care about each other. 

Start of their Relationship 

Shakes is completely burnt out. Game Over is almost the same, except that his dream is completely different.

The first part is the same, but after he escapes the hospital room, instead of going to Fran's house or even their hotel suite (that he knew the agents would eventually find), he goes to Skarra's house ( because they're enemies, its the last place anyone would look )

He climbs in through the window, drinks Skarra's alcohol and breaks into Skarra's room.

Skarra was sleeping but gets woken up Shakes and they do a Dead Girl Walking ( heathers ) parody.

They wake up in the morning to agents banging on the front door.

Shakes escapes through the back while Skarra distracts them ( "Why are there empty bottles in the kitchen?? ... I drank them. I was soo happy that Shakes got in trouble and he definitely did not come here last night or was here 2 minutes ago, hehe")

Skarra's dogs bark at Shakes, which gives it away. Everything until the motorboat crash remains same.

After the incident, Skarra comes looking for Shakes and finds him.

With Skarra decideing to retire, Shakes legally dead, they both graduated and got married, even adopting a kid.

Same as the show, Shakes shows their daughter the bicycle kick and lands on his back, resulting in being brought back to reality.

After winning the game, Shakes goes to Skarra's house. Skarra is obviously angry since SS won the league that year but is confused and asks Shakes why he's here at his home instead of at the Suite. 

Shakes shuts him up with a kiss and they roll in the hay ;) right there and then.

at the end, everything is tense. There was an unsaid agreement that neither would come to each other's house, But Shakes had broke it. Everything has changed now and thay both know it. Finally, instead of saying ' I hate you' like usual, Shakes says ' I love you '

Skarra remains quiet, while Shakes retells his dream. Shakes takes Skarra's silence as rejection and quietly leaves, while Skarra makes no move to stop him, stuck inside his own head.

Things are akward for about a week, till a derby match. They both don't have the same fire in them as usual, and everyone notices the diffrence. the match ends in a 1-1, neither of them scoring any of the goals.

That night, Skarra turns up at Shakes's house and this time, instead of having sex , they choose to talk and fall asleep, after confessing their feelings properly.

In a Relationship (Lovers)

They keep their relationship a secret from everyone, afraid that their teammates might judge.

Dee and Nandi are the first to know. Skarra and Shakes take the two out for dinner and tell them.

Both of them get extremely jealous if anyone tries anything. Both are very protective.

Skarra hates Riano. 

At Super League parties, they always talk through their eyes. everyone think they're just glaring at each other.

Now that they can go to each others house, the Hotel Suite is almost useless. They still go there sometimes but only for emergencies.

The relationship remains a secret for almost 8 months before their text messages somehow get leaked.

Skarra gets inside information ( because of course he does ), that someone sent Miss Altivo their leaked messages, revealing their whole history.

He immediately calls Shakes and they come up with a plan.

They call their teammates and coaches and tell them to wear disguises and come to the hotel suite. 

Once everyone reaches, The teams are confused.

Skarra and Shakes tell them everything, from start to finish.

Everyone in SS are surprised and first thought it was a prank. IU on the other hand, start exchanging money.

Coach immediately calls their PR team, while Vince starts offering bribes. With these two working on the case, they manage to stop Miss Altivo and shut down everything.

Now that their teams know, Skarra and Shakes decide to go public, revealing it in an interview.

The world goes crazy over these two and hundreds of fan edits appear everywhere.

Half the fans love the enemies to lovers storyline, the other half hate it.

Skarra and Shakes are really big on PDA, and they are banned from sitting next to each other during award parties as when either one of them win, they go overboard with the kissing. The first time it happened, the whole party paused to stare at them and some people even gagged. One of the older coaches even fainted, at "such lewd acts ".

Their relationship never became truly 100% healthy, but they are both trying and sometimes even get professional help :)
