@mrcalvincarter
“I have to agree with you. If this group wasn’t full of people I generally don’t hate, I would be pissing the townies off for shits and giggles,” Jackson smirked, leaning against the nearest tree. “Beds, never thought I would miss mine, but I’m glad I have one. You could always steal one, put it up a tree….”
"That ain't a bad idea.. although it seems like too much aggro. " Calvin would be sure to manage it in some bodged job, a half arsed effort nonetheless. He wasn't really fussed about beds, in the past many houses were easily broken into: no alarms unlocked doors from when people had fled and if all else failed windows. If the urge ever called then sleeping in someone else's bed or residing in a house wasn't a bad move. "What's it like - In camp I mean, not that I imagine it any other away apart from shit."
Airiana couldn’t hold back the coy smile that had formed onto her lips. This man had guts, especially talking to Airiana. But as a newcomer, he had absolutly no idea of her rough reputation, and she took comfort in that. “Did you hear me correctly?” She asked rhetorically, it’s just Airiana, babe. Not Princess, or doll or anything else. But if you’re having trouble remembering I’d be happy to help you remember.” She smirked arching a brow. “It’s a pleasure Vin.” She nodded. If she had too, she could compel Vin to address her correctly, or she could scare him, and something told her she could definitely use a laugh.
"There's no need to help me remember, darling." Calvin couldn't help himself, like he'd bother remembering names if he wasn't going to stay for long. The fourth camp he'd be in contact with and it was only a matter of time until the leadership fucked them over, right? That's what always happened. They thought they knew everything - little to their knowledge, they knew nothing. That was one of the pros of going alone, you quickly learnt the right way to survive... or else you'd be dead. "It's nice to meet a girl with a backbone for once." It was a change to those cowering women who would hide behind you at every possible turn, pussies.
Like if I owe or message if you'd like to plot.
Either way, see you later.
"Does anyone have some alcohol stashed?"
There wasn’t anything to wait for really. He was ready to go. Any moment was as good as any other. “Not for me” he chuckled. “I’m ready to go whenever” he added quickly. He did a great job with the bat. It’s way easier to kill walkers with a few spikes hanging from the hitting part. Breaks through the skull easily. “I’m wielding this…” he spoke as he took the blade from the sheath attached to his back. “I don’t like guns, but I’m pretty handy with one of these or a knife.”
"-Whoa, I know who I'm fucking hiding behind." Calvin raised his brows in an impressed expression, the man sure had a keen eye for weaponry. It looks like Ethan had the melee tactic too. After all, it only had one downside that was having to be close to attack... which could be counterbalanced by having the element of surprise opposed to a gun. "Why are we still standing here?" He held out his arm to signify him first, Calvin didn't know anything about the location nor houses in question. "Ladies first."
“So, you’re here by yourself….living the dream?” Jackson asked, looking around the small clearing. “Don’t you get bored or rather don’t you miss beds and houses and not having to watch your back?”
"I find being alone is better. Every group I've been with tends to be full of pussies, am I right or am I right?" It wasn't living the dream but he'd rather depend on himself than someone who'll let him down. That's the way Calvin thought - or was it a fact? It was inevitable that people fucked you over. "Not gunna lie, a bed sounds nice."
((Can you guys do me a favor and reblog this if you're interested in RPing something other than sex? I mean...like, if I can start an RP with you without worrying that you're going to be constantly trying to seduce my character or steer the action toward something like that. Friendship is fine, of course. Angst is fine, fighting is fine, etc. Could you reblog if you're more interested in the process and the characters than THAT destination?))
“I’d say people were everyone’s thing these days, dear.” The last word she spoke laced with humour and a slight distaste. Airiana wasn’t one for nicknames especially when they were like doll. “My name’s Airiana, so let’s keep it that way.” She nodded, turning her head to look at him. “And who might you be?”
Well it seemed many of the girls here had balls, hopefully not literally. Her orders were adorable to say the least, she looked too dainty to be implying authority. "A'ight Airiana, princess" The last word got followed with a hearty laugh, deciding to push his luck with cocky smile and yet another nickname. "I'm Vin."
"Does anyone have some alcohol stashed?"
“Ye, I still can’t get used to the fact no one is living there… You know.” Ethan shrugged his shoulders. There was a big chance they could actually find something they could use in some of the houses. After all, there were many, so surely not all are already emptied of all the goods. Glancing down at the bad in his hand, Ethan’s lips formed a smile. “Well that’s a perfectly modified bat you got” he commented. “Did it yourself or found it like that?” he was curious. “Good! Whatever we can carry and use, we take!” It was good to have another friend with a good sense for surviving. “When do we leave?”
"What're we waiting for?" Calvin didn't know the best time to venture, in his previous location it was best to fend during the day. Then again, this seemed like communities strung together so hopefully nothing like the big towns he tried to avoid unless necessary. "I made it myself, it wasn't exactly hard. I figured adding something to pierce their skulls would be easier." He wasn't the smartest by far, but damn he knew how to survive in what the world had became. He guessed living alone and not relying on anyone before the outbreak helped. "What have you got to kill those fuckers with?" Everyone had to have a weapon, right?
"Does anyone have some alcohol stashed?"
It never even crossed Ethan’s mind… Go around the houses. There was probably some alcohol hidden in people’s homes. “See, that’s a brilliant idea” he smiled and nodded his head once. “There’s an entire block of houses not far from here we can search…” he remembered seeing the neighborhood while on his way here. Windows were broken on most of the houses, but he didn’t think they were totally emptied out of everything. “Good to meet you, Vin” he replied. Vin kinda had that cool tone to it, so he decided to go with that one.
"You've never thought about going into houses, huh?" Typical, the leadership hadn't thought of scavenging in houses for items: food, medication and even the much needed alcohol. With a pompous grin he twirled his precious bat in hand, all the way from England with a few added manipulations in the form of nails - killed the twats with ease. A melee weapon didn't need ammo like a crossbow and created less noise than that of a gun. Calvin was smart in the sense of survival. "Deal. We can grab some food too, freezers come in handy."
“I think there is. I mean, if I’m going to win. i’m going to call you by your name ad not just ‘Slave’.” She said to him and shrugged. The girl looked around more, but so far, didn’t see any walkers. She continued walking, hopping over a few tree roots, rivers, or rocks. She looked over at him, tucking some of her blonde hair behind her ear. “We have about…twenty slices. You still think you’re going to win stranger? Damn, you’re cockier than I thought.” Beth said and smirked.
"I was born cocky, love." Calvin decided to wander closer to the girl, to keep her movements in his sight and possibly see her 'get chewed' on - hopefully, wearing a dress wasn't his forté. With a huff he decided to unravel a part of his name and that is all she was getting. "Call me Vin, that's not far off my real name." Then again, Vin is what his mates called him but unbeknownst to the girl, it would be amusing to see her reaction.

“Mental? How did I get mental?” She chuckles shaking her head a bit, turning her head to look at him. “You’re mental for talking to me like that. Now what are you doing out here without any weapons. Like I said before, you coukd get chewed up if you don’t know how to fend yourself. I’m not saying you don’t know how, but I don’t see any weapons on you…” She hums softly.
"Oh, I have a weapon." Calvin wasn't one for being clean minded She should be pleased he didn't elaborate on the matter, he wasn't normally one to dim his words but this girl sure had a backbone. With a sigh to signify that unnecessary moving wasn't something he liked doing, he reached behind the corner to reveal his baby. Hiding the 'weapon' was something he had learnt in the presence of other survivors, the element of surprise if they were wankers. "Here. Isn't she beautiful?"
“Probably shouldn’t be out here alone.” Airiana spoke, arching a brow at the man. “It is regulation…but I that dosn’t stop anyone so.” She sighed, sitting down next to him starring ahead.
Wow, it looks like this place was swarming in pussy. The other settlements had been purely men with the exception of one or two girls. Like it mattered, Calvin was based on surviving, even before the outbreak the word relationship wasn't in his vocabulary - much rather do as who he pleased. "I'd rather stay out here. People aren't my thing, doll."
“It’s useless just like the leadership. But I tried to go it alone and I just got bored. I’d rather ruin people’s days then have to do all the work myself.”
"Legend." Calvin scoffed, clearly Jax had potential to be classed as a friend. However, he preferred going alone. It was easier to maneuver and most of all do as he fucking pleased without no bigot telling him otherwise. "I like your thinking, mate."
"Does anyone have some alcohol stashed?"
“We can always try. I’m not sure if there’s any left, cuz most of the stores are emptied out completely.” Ethan sighed. “Probably some out there further away from here still have something though” he was hopeful, and he sounded like it. “I’m ready to go if you are!” he replied. “I’m Ethan, by the way”
Calvin was probably the cause of 50% of the alcohol consumed within a few miles. Hey, it was free - anything with a kick that he could get his grubby little hands on. "If not the shops we can try our hand at houses, I'm not bothered 'bout location though." According to him it wasn't classed as robbery if the occupants were probably dead or abandoned. "Calvin or Vin, your pick."
