SPOILERS FOR THE RECKONING:

Idk if its implied but im assuming eddies ending is the canon ending no? Either way I have so many thoughts. I was talking to a friend and what he said made me think because he does have a point, that since cold war they were planning the return of the previous crew. With all the artifacts that were found by maxis in the dark aether, I thought it was already a given to give us back the og crew members. I feel like this maps ending was amazing, not just cause they brought back the crew but because of the huge possibility of being able to work with them. Its so exciting to see where the dark aether story goes, I am so obsessed. Not just that but talking about weaver specifically, this map made me feel so sad for him because of the constant state of guilt he was in, which is honestly why I love the Eddie ending alot more. Getting to save richtofens family after having survivors guilt is probably a big relief on his shoulders and he doesnt have to see his friend get replaced by ai, I feel like that would have sent him down a spiral. Weavers mental health has been so shit in bo6 and he just kinda cracked in shattered, so getting this redemption in the reckoning was so beautifully played.
