i think its a massive waste of time, worrying about this, whatever her intersex disorder is. this whole debacle has made me think that there’s a world of a difference between people who have intersex disorders with ambiguous genitalia/sexual characteristics, how they were raised as a result and who just happened to get into sports and had to pick either the male or female team to perform in… and very clearly male person who obviously identified his way into the female team for the advantage or even the the opportunity to be in a female locker room, like lia thompson. this is a matter which deserves a little more nuance i suppose

like i will totally say that if she's got an intersex condition that grants her an unfair advantage against typically bodied women, then she doesn't get to compete imo. everybody doesn't get to do everything. but i haven't read a SINGLE THING that suggests she's actually a man who had a sex change. it's not even legal in her home country.

You see that's what baffles me.

The "they should get therapy!!" crowd acts as if not raping women and children was something difficult. Do they even hear themselves?

They act as if there had to be some special therapy for men to persuade them to not rape.

There are people with all kinds of mental disorders. I don't recall any that would make one specifically prone to raping people?

Rape is always a conscious decision that takes a lot of steps to go through, and rapists do not stop at any of them. I think that should be enough for any decent person to agree that such men should be locked up forever.

i really like this specific kind of tumblr post when someone posts a picture of something like a small animal doing a stupid thing and then everyone loves the stupid thing. and then someone is like "i think this is actually Bad."

then my favorite part happens, someone jumps in and is all like "hi hello! this is actually a very exciting post for me because i am an expert on stupid things AND animals!" and then they put their eight months of petsmart experience to good hard work and say just the dumbest most obvious stuff you ever did hear. i love that.
