Braindead X-Ray

I know nothing about US political shenanigans really, apart from what I’ve seen on the series Braindead. For me it has been the most consistently entertaining series this year with it’s tale of invading alien ants and conniving, time wasting politicians.

In reality, I suspect that politicians both UK and US, are already infected and that Braindead is indeed a documentary.

Series Review: BrainDead

This was hard to get into as it was weird, but if you pushed through the first couple of episodes, it was the good kind of weird.  I thought the writers created such a balance between satire, drama and ridiculousness. 

If you look you can see parallels between the crazy “right” and “left” that we see reflected in the Media.  *chuckling*  It’s not that hard to see it though, it’s right there and it’s glorious!

I thought Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aaron Tveit had great chemistry together.  There was a little will they/won’t they but it wasn’t dragged out and the hesitation was all because the were on opposite sides of the aisle.  Like adults, they talked and worked through it.  Mostly. :)

I also really enjoyed the chemistry/banter between Nikki M James and Johnny Ray Gill - really well done.  I was a sad when they made it feel romantic from Gustav’s point of view, I was looking for friendship, and it was there - everything handled like adults.  It was so refreshing.

Really great show, fun, odd, kind of gross (look away from the bugs!!) but it was so enjoyable so I recommend it.
