Hello! To the blog owner, I have a request for a SFW Miraculous Ladybug fanfic that would be anywhere in the range of 10k to 25k words. Yes, I'm asking for one that is not a crossover with DC. My request is for a story that would be set in the early seasons. Actually, any point you want, as long as it is before Ladybug and Cat Noir learned of each other's identity. We all know that one of Marinette's traits is that she's very clumsy, so I have an idea VERY loosely inspired by the book Gulliver's Travels (so you don't need to have read it). Marinette, for some reason (any ideas?), ends up in a completely unknown, undiscovered island where everything is 12 times smaller, just like Lilliput in the book (you could still use the name Lilliput)! Trees, animals, mountains, and also the people and their buildings! According to the scale of 12, the people are only 6 inches tall! So, she has to be very careful to not accidentally step on anyone or destroy any buildings! She might be taller than even the Royal Palace! Also, just like Lilliput in the book, this island will be attacked by a naval fleet from a near island, where everything is also tiny, called Blefuscu, and Marinette will save Lilliput from them! She probably wouldn't even need to turn into Ladybug, since she's a giant in this environment, because everything is 12 times smaller, so she can even walk on the sea floor near the coast! Saving Lilliput is how she redeems herself from the houses and buildings she accidentally destroyed there. But her adventure is still far from over.
She wants to find a way to leave the island and return to Paris. The lilliputians tell her of a third island they know, behind a thick mist, and they tell her that no one has ever returned from there. She decides to go there and see if she can find and bring back any survivors, believing that her size will mean that nothing can happen to her. She turns into Ladybug. After getting through the mist, she ends up in an island in which everything is 12 times bigger instead of smaller! An island called Brobdingnag! She tries to run away, but she's captured and taken to a house far into the island, and the people there can't believe that a tiny human can exist, just like the lilliputians couldn't believe that a giant human could exist! Adrien will want to rescue Marinette after she has disappeared from Paris. Somehow, he'll end up in Lilliput after she has left it, with the lilliputians being worried about her fate. He'll go to the same island she went to and be captured as well! Then, to escape, they'll have to reveal to each other their secret identities! But even when in the forms of their super-hero selves, a land where everything is giant won't be an easy task! Giant trees, giant bugs, giant animals (such as cats and dogs), people (who are 72 foot tall), giant cars, giant houses!
To be clear, there's no actual size changing in the story. Also, the people in Lilliput and Blefuscu should be completely unaware of the world that exists beyond them, and the people in Brobdingnag should be completely unaware of the world that exists beyond Brobdingnag. People in Lilliput will be shocked about how such a giant human as Marinette can exist, and the scientists will be divided on whether to believe on a land of giants, after her explanation that everyone is her size where she comes from, and that everything is also proportional to her size where she comes, so she's not a giant there, just a normal person. In Brobdingnag, the people will be shocked about how a human the size of a mouse can exist and survive in nature without being an easy prey, and the scientists would be divided on whether to believe on a land of tiny people, after her explanation that everyone is her size where she comes from, and that everything is also proportional to her size where she comes, so she's able to live there as a normal person, just like a brobdingnagian in Brobdingnag.
If you want to, you could change the scale from 12 to 18. The latter would make the adult people in Lilliput be on average four inches tall instead of six, and the adult people in Brobdingnag be 108 feet tall on average instead of 72. I personally prefer the scale of 18, but it's all up to you. And there's also the scale of 24, which would make lilliputians be 3 inches tall and brobdingnagians be 144 feet tall.

I think there is a lot of potential here and I do believe you are right anon op that this could be an easy 10k minimum with how much world building it would need or at the least, the amount of focus that should be put on Marinette's experience in the new world.
I may be perceiving it a bit wrong, forgive me if I am, this feels like it would do best being placed within the world of Gulliver's Travels. Considering how much of that og is being referenced within this request idea. It also would definitely work bet as a solo fandom not a crossover.
I'm honestly surprised you are not writing this out anon op. You seem to have a really good grasp of it and would probably write it better than I could. Others could probably take a decent stab at it as well, but it's so thought out that it's a piece best suited for someone aware of the inspiration material.
Anyways, I mostly do shorter pieces of writing. The requests are more so meant to be presented to the fandom(s) they are related to versus directly to the blog owner. Apologies for not making that clear. I am down to trying to give a bit of an attempt write at requests if asks would like.
