sometimes i just want to go on huge rants about things like: 1) the caustic replies--from other women almost exclusively, if not entirely exclusively--to a women's forum post asking for support and advice about how she felt her doctor abused her sexually 2) how the quote "you accept the love you think you deserve" is so scarily accurate, and how i want to so much teach the people in my life to break free of that mindset 3) how higher education has been so laughably narrowed down to one thing--college/university--when trade schools and on-the-job training can offer a much better overall value to some lives 4) how much i hate that people refer to virgins as some mythical creature, like a unicorn or whatever the fuck, when your sexual experience or inexperience does jack shit to define anything important about you at all but then i can never summon the words to write anything that makes even an inkling of sense on the topic at hand, and i get stuck making lists instead
