How to properly force-dragon (forcescale?) a loved one
Purchase for your loved one some books/movies with prominent dragon characters. This serves to put dragons on the mind for the following steps. Placing some images of dragons around the house may also help.
Have them wear some mostly-normal clothing that somewhat emulates the feeling of dragonhood (sequined dress for scales, high heels for digitigrade limbs, etc). Use a conditioning method of your choice to link a pleasurable response to these items.
Start sprinkling in draconic pet names when you talk to them. Terms like "scales" that draw attention to specific characteristics work well.
Adjust their living situation to fit that of a dragon. Serve more meat dishes at mealtimes. Lower the house temperature to encourage sunning or curling around others. Give them enough precious stones or other valuable trinkets as gifts that they'll need to start a "hoard" (make sure you call it that).
Subtly reward draconic behaviors in your loved one as they come up. Dragons should expect to get what they want, so encourage confidence and forcefulness in their demands, trying not to contradict them or refuse requests. Reward horde-keeping tendencies with more gifts. You can try different reward mechanisms, but even something as simple as acting nicer on days that they show these tendencies should help quite a bit.
Feed their ego as much as possible. Sympathize with even their tiniest complaints, suggesting how to best get revenge on those who have wronged them. Convince them that the world revolves around them, that others are just their toys to manipulate.
At some point, they might ask to try out some kind of dragon roleplay, during sex or otherwise. If so, you should comply. If not, now might be a good time to broach the topic. Regardless of their answer, you should respect it (what a dragon says, goes). If they refuse, wait a bit and then try again. Again, conditioning methods should be used to manufacture a link between being a dragon and good feelings.
Ramp up the frequency and duration of these roleplays until they spend more time acting like a dragon than not. By this point, you've mostly succeeded; all that's left for you to do is gently remind them from time to time that them being a dragon doesn't have to just be a roleplay; they could just be a dragon if they want. Eventually, with enough persistence, if all these steps are followed, it will click for them, and they'll realize that they are truly and fully a dragon.
(Optional) Purchase body modifications for them to make them more comfortable with their new identity. Dragons come in many shapes and sizes, but they feel that they want scales, horns and wings. Dragons don't like being told "no", so you should accommodate those wishes.
Show your dragon the utmost love and devotion. Dragons deserve worship, and they will accept nothing less. Tell them how proud you are of them and how beautiful they are like this. Watch as they preen at the compliment, straightening as a dangerous smile plays at their lips. In that moment, the transformation is complete.
