I was reading the Lucid analysis you shared and thinking how it fit with the brain's ability to find a way to cope with trauma and grief, and then I remembered that Lucid was registered in July 2024 so it was written prior to his most recent grief experience. It just shows me Louis has been through so much and on this journey for years. I feel you can really see the influence of his interest in psychology on HDIGH with inspirations coming from concepts like imposter syndrome, the observer effect (The Observer was also registered that same time) and now this idea of dissociation/lucidity/clarity. He seems to have really been focusing on healing and introspection for a while. This album is so much deeper with every listen. Thank you for sharing!

Yes, you can really tell from his interviews and lyrics that he's been working on understanding himself since FITF. Thank goodness for that. He's been through way too much to just shove it all aside.
