I don't like the term 'Sex Worker' so Im going to…
Hmmm… thoughts? (Don’t judge based on the clickbait-y title)
Okay so apparently this chick is crazy but all that aside, I am definitely interested in her concept of rebranding sex work.
Lmao why the fuck does "sex work" needs to be rebranded. She's exhausting. There's a whole history and political movement behind the goddamn word. Just cos you don't know it. . . . y'all kill me 😂😂😂
As for the other shit. We hide behind flowery language LITERALLY BECAUSE OF STIGMA. it is work. Erotic labor is labor. EROTIC LABOR IS LABOR. If y'all don't want to claim this is work cos you all want to uphold some fantasy for your clients and YOURSELF then that's chill. But this entire idea that the rest of us have to follow a mindless capitalist hoe who could not be bothered to pick up a book on history or sociology
Bye
Someone requested a fire theme, but the request got deleted so here it is :)
sun in bitch, moon in hoe, slut rising
This blog has been more or less inactive for a while. So I'm really not sure what to write at the moment
I'm tired. My heart is so heavy for all the folks whose advertising sites have been going under. I can't even begin to describe the numbed horror through which I'm watching everything. I just....
I started sex work When I was broke. Broke and exhausted. I know what that looks like. I've never really believed in the whole you gotta have money to do sex work, though I understand where the sentiment comes from. But hey.
If you're starting out, scared, and without options: please reach out. I'm happy to help where possible
Much love,

I thought I was going to earn money this month but lol the flu is going to either kill me or my clients. RIP Savings goals....
I wish I had clear skin so I didn’t have to cover my freckles with foundation
Hey I just tried this thing!! Dr Dennis Gross chemical peel wipes, got them from Sephora. You can go in and get a sample, they have sensitive, normal, and extra strength, I used it once and I have pretty clear skin but stress leaves me kinda textured and regular exfoliating never does shit for me. I tried this thing and the next day I looked like i was ready to shoot a face wash commercial.
You should try!!
I am getting these wipes cuz my skin sucks
My friend used them and they helped her a lot with her scars from cystic acne
That’s exactly what I have too!!!
I used these wipes for 2 years and they really worked, but now I use a mixture of these three things (i rotate every day):
https://www.sephora.com/product/cleansing-exfoliating-wipes-P410144 - these are really gentle and don’t really do anything as far as exfoliating, but i use them every day after cleansing just to make sure everything is clean before my skin routine
https://zoskinhealth.com/product/cebatrol-oil-control-pads-acne-treatment - these are very harsh but they dry out and kill any cysts, but my skin gets flakey so i only use them on spotty areas
https://www.sephora.com/product/prep-n-glow-cloths-P414661 - i use these every other day instead of the coconut wipes, and my skin looks amazing afterwards.
@sugarnstudy you are an angel I’m going to order all these!!
Following
Wow I didn’t expect there to be suggestions on here! I’m so happy. Looks like I need to make a Sephora trip soon
If you scroll pass this you don’t got ten dollars
Need my $10
Guys i literally just got tipped $10 at work
My trick today kept asking and asking about my screening process like what do I know about him from Googling him and the identity sites out there. And then he straight up asked me about VH and I was like "..." And he goes: well I'm thinking of going into the identity business and like I laughed charmingly or whatever and was like yeah there's a couple of them out there but you have to be a verified SWer to be on them and he was like oh wow that must be a lot of money wow and FIRST OF ALL SHUT UP YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OFF OUR SAFETY LIKE ?????? And anyways SECOND I feel so weird that I even told him that part that you gotta be a verified SWer cos what if he tries to get verified or some shit Urgh I hate tricks they make me paranoid
Well I guess I'm just confused cause literally everyone on tumblr acts like you can never deposit any cash you get from sex work or else the bank will "flag" it and you'll get in trouble. So yeah i will look more into it but right now I've heard two different opinions that don't match each other at all.
Okay, I’m just going to give a quick lesson here because everyone on this website needs to stop giving bad advice.
Banks are required by law to report deposits of $10k and over to the IRS. When you make a single or related transactions (related = within 24 hours of each other) that exceed 10k, you or the bank fills out Form 8300.
This same form applies to related deposits, wherein related means a single payer for an amount exceeding 10k, done within 12 months of each other. So if you sell your car for 12k and split up the deposit into 3 payments (1 per month) of 4k, you’ll have to report that on Form 8300.
The “trouble” they’re referring to is because the IRS may look at smaller deposits as a scam called structuring or smurfing, wherein people who are trying to launder money and/or commit tax fraud make large deposits under 10k in the hopes that their transactions won’t get flagged. These are tracked via a Currency Transaction Report and covered by the federal Bank Secrecy Act. If the bank files a CTR or an 8300 on your behalf in 2017, they must inform you by Jan 31st of 2018.
Beyond that, federal law requires banks to report any “unusual” financial activity via a Suspicious Activity Report, which they have 30 days post transaction to file, and they are prohibited from disclosing to you.
So yes, if you go from making 9.00/hr to regularly dropping thousands into your account, it can potentially raise suspicion. A paper trail (books) that shows your *cash based business* as legitimate will clear up that suspicion. This goes for strippers, dog walkers, bartenders, consultants, handymen, etc.
That’s why you need an accountant, who will pay your taxes, help you obtain the appropriate licenses (frequently cities require independent contractors and self employed individuals to have an operating license for like $25 per quarter), and who can show you how to keep books for your *legitimate cash based business*.
I deposited way over $10k in my account the past few years and I didn’t have to fill out any forms. I just reported it all and paid all the taxes on it.
Just don’t deposit over $10k at once and pay all your taxes. It’s simple.
^^same^^. If you pay your taxes you should be fine, I’ve been doing it for four years now and never had a problem, but I also use a credit union, not a bank.
Anybody have a rough estimate of the taxes you pay every year? I stopped having a vanilla job halfway through the year and I’m scared to file my taxes on my dance money bc I don’t know what I’m going to owe.
Theres a formula that can give you an estimate! I can’t speak to state or local taxes but federal goes like this:
Let’s say you, filing as a single individual, made 62,000 (pre tax) as all your earned income for 2017.
[10% x first $9,325] + [15% x ($37,950 - $9,325] + [25% x ($62,000 – $37,950)] = $932.50 + $4,293.75 + $6,012.50 = $11,238.75.
^ that’s sort of misleading though and not really correct. You are taxed on your AGI (Adjusted gross income). Which is basically after you’ve taken all the deductions you can. So, for example if you’re earning $62,000 a year you first take the standard deduction (-$6350). Then your exemptions (-$4050) for you and each dependent you have. Then any retirement contributions, student loan interest, etc. AND especially your business expenses! I have thousands of business expenses every year that are 100% deductible. Don’t get nervous about that big number because it’s super misleading. Honestly just use turbo tax or go to H&R Block or an accountant if you’re unsure.
Yeah I was in a rush the other day heading to my job and didn’t have time to finish, I did mean to mention deductions as the next step though so thank you for adding that info!
My frustration with deductions is more and more the IRS is cracking down on them and narrowing what reasonably can be considered a business expense, plus they vary a lot from person to person.
Achievement is equated with cash flow, but promiscuity is shunned.
An interesting breakdown of the TER rating scheme, laid out in a way I’d never seen before:
“The highest score a provider can receive is a 7, unless they: 1) kiss with tongue 2) offer oral without a condom 3) are bisexual 4) offer anal sex, or 5) participate with more than one man (assuming that the client is a man) at the same time. For each service, a provider can earn one point. In some cases, earning a full 10 points is impossible without crossing personal boundaries, and often confusing when the provider doesn’t identify as a cis woman; furthermore, ratings are not selected by clients, but by TER administrators who read a client’s description of the meeting.
That means that a less verbose client may have had a 10/10 meeting, but the TER staff (who are anonymous, but presumably all straight men) may read it as a 7/10 experience, or some lower designation. For a provider who isn’t a cis woman, it’s easy to imagine that higher ratings are regularly unattainable under this specific male gaze, and especially in a place where ads for transgender sex workers are listed separately under a “Transsexual” category (here and on Eros). As a result of this unpredictable rating system, many high-class providers have removed their listings from TER or adopted a “no review” policy, which effectively bans you from advertising on the site. For those providers, it’s no big deal; for survival sex workers, it’s self-destruction.”

Since everyone seems interested here are the stripper agencies. I’ve only used them for US locations so idk anything about working internationally
Which cities have you worked in, were any of them worth it?
@cryingattheorgy is there a time minimum? Like could you do a week or is it always months at a time?
The Philly one is worth it. I did two other cities but they’re not listed anymore.
And IME they say you have to stay a certain amount of time but you don’t really. My last trip was only a week and a half. But some clubs might enforce it idk
I want to do Myrtle Beach
I was looking at that. The club is derrières. If I did that I’d probably try there and if it sucked I would get my own hotel and work at Thee Dollhouse which I’ve heard good things about and looks way nicer
I just want to go to the beach, if I break even, who fucking cares lol
^^^ same. I’m so down to do this once I’m done with school
What the fuck is it with foot fetishists & having incredibly specific outfit requests but being utterly unwilling to bring their own pointy toed thigh high boots/Chuck Taylors/chunky platform wedges/whatever the fuck to a session??
It’s pretty obvious from my ad that I’m not some swanky dominatrix working out of a dungeon with a fully equipped costume wardrobe or whatever. I’m literally wearing the same shoes in all of my photos ffs. Got the same shit when I was at my old brothel too - it’s obvious that we’re not the kind of high end agency that has a costume wardrobe & you’re calling AFTER my shift has started, how am I meant to help you dude???
“I’m only after a very specific and fairly expensive type of shoe. Can you please buy those for our booking. I would like to book the minimum time, no extras, no deposit and please send me several pictures of your feet and the shoes beforehand.” Foot fetishists are the worst.
"It's not my fault I didn't book her when she refused to cater to my very expensive and tedious fetishes. I mean, even when she tried she got that tiny detail wrong so OF COURSE I couldn't book her I'm not like all those *other* fetishists"
Ok girls. I want to tell my favorite “fuck you, civilian pole hobbiest” story
Since cardi b’s recent success has put a spotlight on these cat puking little shits who degrade us for our job while wearing our shoes and imitating our lives…
So about two years ago for a party my club was throwing, they advertised a “pole dancing contest”. All the patrons would pay 5 bucks for a raffle ticket, and the winner of the raffle would get a comped dance with the winner of the pole contest which would be decided by a vote of applause.
Cool.
So we had several girls who are really comfortable on the pole, myself included, so we sign up. All night we’re working and then at fucking 11pm, an hour before the contest goes off, this bitch from the pole dance studio next door comes in and wants to fucking sign up.
She fucking applies and the managers take her license and shit and let her fucking do it. Of course. So of course we’re pissed. She just sits at the bar drinking water, not talking for a hour, thinking she’s got a few hundred bucks in the bag easy.
So I convince my friend to sign up for the contest. She’s not really a pole dance girl, so she wasn’t gonna go for it. But for a good cause? She does.
I spend the next hour telling every dancer in there to cheer for her as loud as possible and not to stop.
So the pole hobbiest chick gets up there and does her rigid, ugly acrobatics and gets a lot of tips and applause, more than most of us of course.
But my friend gets up, and fucking does the time warp. Doesn’t even touch the pole, just does the time warp. And we cheer our fucking heads off. It becomes infectious. The men are hysterical, we’re hysterical. She wins.
Hobbiest has to pay the fucking house fee, and leave.
I love this
I love sex work revenge stories lmao
Someone booked me today for 1.5hrs but he got done in a half hour and left in an hour and it was a really pleasant booking but I'm psyching myself out like maybe he left unhappy and I know its 100% unwarranted but like
Honestly if this is not a money maker dreamboard
