Hi, I'm The Murasaki Lady, but you can call me Murasaki, Mura or Your Majesty.

Although I primarily enjoy horror and mystery, I have many other interests. Science fiction is one of them, as are period stories. Madness is one way to describe my tastes.

I don't like to get into political conversations. I have my ideals and rarely feel the need to inflict them on others. However, I will not tolerate any offensive, racist, or homophobic messages directed at me or others.

I thought it was clear, but to make it even clearer: If you're a minor, do not interact with me. Some themes in this blog are meant for an adult audience, even tho some post are quite normal.

Do not message me with just "Hey, Hello, Hey, there, etc". You just gonna get ignored. State what you want if you throw a message. And no, I'm not gonna give you other ways to contact me, so don't bother.

English it's not my main language, excuse some errors. I'm still learning how to write properly.

I swear. A lot. Less in English, tho, cause in Spanish I can be a machine. Don't like it, I can be polite with you, but I'm gonna do whatever the fuck I want in my blog.

My sense of humor is messed up and I have problems interacting with people. This is not due to any mental illness but me just being socially awkward. That doesn't mean I can't talk like a normal human being when given the chance. Just so you know, cause I've been blocked before for that behavior. So yeah.

So I am in the Ao3 Discussion Community and more than once people have asked a software for writing. And a lot of people recommended Ellipsus, which attracted my attention as I also heard it as an alternative to Google Docs, that is what I use. I mean the Gemini button is there and I don't know what the hell it does 'cause I've never use it.

But my stuff is set to private. Google shouldn't be reading anything. It goes against my privacy settings... right?

So asked Google if documents, even private ones, can be read. And the answer was yes, they checked in case of spam. In case of spam you're reading my personal stuff, that I set to be private.

So I take down my fanfic, downloaded other stuff to keep them in my PC and the next thing will be moving to Ellipsus. Because fuck you Google and your stupid gray zones that you use to invade people's privacy. Just to sell data and provide you with personalized ads.

I don't even see ads I use a Blocker, dumbass.

My impression from Dracula 2020 BBC is another example that my opinion rarely goes along with the mainstream one

But guess WHAT?! Most people on IMDb hated it.....

I don't remember the last time I saw and experienced such...idk emotional involvement, such beauty of feelings, of picture, of acting

And it was actually very well paced towards the culmination!

And surprisingly it never (between those two) was dirty, not even sensual but intimate, like soulmates

There's a difference between "Hating for the sake of it" and "Criticize some decisions". Most people on IMDB liked the show till the last episode 'cause its a big: WHAT!? Instead of developing the story already established in the first two episodes, who already had changes made, they throw you into that weird foundation shown only once and then it doesn't matter anymore. Renfield is there for comic relief, big disrespect to the original. Lucy is a vain dumbass who can't tell the different between being buried or cremated, another disrespect to the original. Zoe or whatever her name was, can apparently drink Dracula's blood and suddenly turn into Agatha again, cause we couldn't figure out how to resurrect the character. Suddenly Dracula is a pussy that apparently didn't try to see if the sunlight really burns him, despite knowing that those zombies he had made are not affected. Already made me laugh, thinking "Well, you're in for a surprise". So using it like a plot twist in the 3rd was like, okay, this is playing on the fact that I'm either stupid or I never read the novel. But, hey, the ending have nice visuals and nice music, so that excuse it, right? No, this is no fanfiction, we pay to see that shit so can be subjected to criticisms. Yet Moffat looks like he's writing one with the "Happy End" tag. He did the same in Doctor Who, got called out for it. Same in Sherlock, got called out again. And now just lazy writing. And the best thing is he can be a really good writer when he wants to. "Blink" is regarded one of the best episodes of Doctor Who, till this day. There's nothing wrong with people criticizing or calling out the bad writing. Specially when you actually liked the show.
