2025 was a great a year for crime solving priests.

I want to see a movie or two-parter where there’s a series of animal related crimes with religious overtones but there’s also a veterinarian conference and a religious retreat so Mrs. McCarthy, Mrs. C, Mrs. Hall, Sister Reginald and Sister Peter (who turns out all served in the WRENS together) have to solve the mystery.

There of course will be tea and awards-winning scones.

Who would have thought it would be a 1950s detective show to display such an accurate depiction of girlhood 🎀

I love how Mystery shows use

“the only one bed” trope in unusual ways like instead of creating sexual tension let’s make them miserable.

I love reading the comments on any fanfiction relating to Poirot.

because the commenter will be like:

“Poirot was written so perfectly with his eccentricities, and thought process making him insufferable as always.”

And then also say

“and Hastings was so ….Hastings”

Ok tell me this not the same dynamic. Grouchy done with life ginger and their willing meaning, good hearted subordinate. Like I can’t watch either show without thinking of the other.

The funniest yet the worst thing about watching so many murder mysteries series is confusing the plot of episodes with different shows in the same universe.
