Is USA at a point where socdems are silencing more progressive movements? Socdems and other opponents from the left are only a problem when they take your political space for themselves. Got a lot of backlash for this. I decided to ignore it, until now I feel like something needs to be said.
So, let me clear things up.
1. I never said communism was fascist. I said using the hammer and sickle was fascist. I think a symbol that was appropriated by a nation responsible by the ethnic cleansing of millions sounds pretty fascist to me. Just because something isn’t western doesn’t mean it’s idealistic (I.e. Iran and North Korea)
2. I am NOT saying the Soviet Union was worse than the Nazi Party. I am saying that they should be associated with the same magnitude of evilness associated with the Nazis, and other fascist parties.
3. Sure, it’s blob-slop. It looks rushed and it was rushed, and yes it was made in procreate. I have tons of art better than this. No, I’m not a middle schooler, I’m a college student. Yes, I’m autistic, but that gives you no excuse to call me a retard OR a khokhol.
4. Kulaks were quite literally just peasants with bigger farms. Sure I bet some of them were greedy but that’s like saying they deserve to go to prison or be killed is like saying a fat guy deserves to be imprisoned or killed because he’s fat which obviously means he’s hoarding all the food for himself and starving others. Not to mention the innocent women and children that got involved. Why deport the peasants instead of the corrupt politicians who caused this whole mess? It’s the same thing today in America, people blaming the current state of the nation on blue-collar minorities and immigrants.
5. The replies have only proved my point in how much you people de-value Ukrainian lives and statehood. Calling us Nazis, wishing death and rape on us. Subhuman behavior. Ukraine deserves to see freedom and peace like every other oppressed group. Fuck your symbol.
