actually so fucking funny to me that from the moment tommy kinard (having not interacted one-on-one with buck or eddie otherwise) stepped into frame between them for less than five seconds in 703 and received a single innocent shoulder pat and smile from buck, for a good chunk of us, the vision of how this storyline would play out as a gay love triangle (with not a single one of these men having been confirmed as queer at that point) eventually leading to buddie canon came as if from a dodgeball sent by apollo himself and then beat by beat the prophecy became realized almost exactly a year later. don't let anyone ever tell you delusion doesn't pay off.

I’m really happy with ABC as a network. It’s amazing that they have fully embraced the queer representation of the show and haven’t half ass acknowledged their existence.

They have fully embraced Bisexual Buck, with posts like this one;

But they also fully embraced the already existing Lesbian couple in their posts as well;

Fox always did the bare minimum, honestly less than bare minimum when acknowledging Henren as a canon lesbian couple in the show. I know many of you will agree with my sentiments that this change of networks has been a breath of fresh air. I’m hoping 911’s success with queer representation causes a bigger shift in the entire industry, where we don’t have to settle for implied queer representation. That queer stories don’t get silenced or changed to fit heteronormative expectations. Were we are queer baited a lot less.
