Here's an AU idea I had based on a video game I played recently: Rinzler and Tron as completely separate consciousnesses.

No matter how hard he tried, Clu could never rectify Tron enough to listen to him. The best solution was to beat Tron's consciousness into a little corner of his being and replace him with a new being.

Poor little Rinzler has only ever known a life of pain, obedience, and facelessness. This is normal to him. There is nothing else. And yet, it still feels wrong. One millicycle, after a rare act of defiance, Rinzler is lying broken and battered after a punishment.

Tron wakes up, cycles upon cycles lost and unable to control his body. There's someone new living in it and he desperately need help. Rinzler reaches his hand out to the data ghost of Tron.

"It's alright, program. You're not alone. I'm here."

[Ghostly Tron eventually helps Rinzler escape because I want my boys to be happy. This Rinzler meeting programs that Tron used to know would be wild.]

My feelings on Quorra are both A. seeing her as symbolic of one of the multiple ways of dealing with stress and grief while Sam represents another and B. convinced that she gets the zoomies.

It’s about time I’ve added another fandom on my archive! TRON! I’ve always loved Disney’s Tron, especially the 1982 film, but I’ve also loved what they’ve done with the style of Tron:legacy and uprising. I decided to add onto my own adaptation to the comics Tron: betrayal and Tron evolution, seeing that these characters are Radia, Clu, and Jalen(Abraxas). You’ve got these three ambassadors of the grid, and Clu who doesn’t like to share power.
