ON THE DAWES ROLLS:

The dawes rolls was a thing when they wanted to list who you were, how native you were, and kick you out essentially. If you didn't wanna leave or sign you name, you forfeited citizenship to your tribe via the USA saying so. UHmm that's the every simplified version.

Via the Chickasaw constitution, they determine citizenship via if your ancestors are on those dawes rolls... of course, not everyone who has Chickasaw in them will have this.

I mean 2 things when I tell you this:

A.) we don't even use blood quantum - and BQ is dumb anyways - so if someone tries to ever fakeclaim you based on that they're stupid

and B.) the dawes rolls is a dumb ass system as well.
