Introducing: goose!!!

I’d class myself as a long haired rottweiler. I’ve always related to animals more than humans, I think it’s down to my autism, I relate to a rottie because of my fierce loyalty, my love to care for others, and my playful manner. I’m also very vocal, constantly grumbling, but in a content way. I love racing through the woods just as much as I love snoozing in front of the tv 😴

I suppose this is my introduction! Any other mutts and strays want to follow me, let’s form a pack!

Took a tumble the other day and ended up with minor nerve damage in my elbow. Ive been told to keep it moving now the swelling has gone down. So I've been sat on the couch playing catch with my friend who was sat accross the room and I remembered just how fun it is to play catch!

Not been able to be dog mode for a while, since I have an actual dog now and shes still a baby so I have to do the boring adult human stuff of shopping for insurance and planning her vet visits and figuring out what food to get her since shes allergic to chicken and grain makes her poop bad. Did yall know most puppy food is chicken and cereals!? Its been a struggle. But apparently last night while I was sleeping i woke my boyfriend up because i was bearing my teeth and growling in my sleep, and kicking a little bit. The dog in me is trying to come out lmao. He went home today and I've been feeling like doing a somber howl, but the baby is asleep on my legs right now, and shes so good when he leaves, i dont want her picking up any bad habits from seeing me whine or howl because he left :(

Met up with my indoor cat friend and their partner today. They were out in town running errands and I had to go pick up an emergency suit for a funeral :( my kitty friend was out in their ears as usual, to be honest I've never seen them without the ears so to me those are the ears that grew out of their head lmao. We got a few weird looks but they seemed to be immune to it. We didn't get to talk much about therian stuff, but it was nice to just be out an about with them again.

I run into them irl once every 6 months, we chat for a while, then they dip and get busy with projects and forget the outside world exists

My friend brings his chihuahua puppy out to the pub to be socialised and my favorite thing is teaching people to sneeze at dogs to let them know they're done playing with them. It's funny watching people say "achoo" instead of just doing a little huff at them.

Anyway i got to clash teeth (not actually touching just a lot of grumbling and putting my cheek to his) with a dog again which is my all time favorite way to play with dogs. They get so excited like "YES ONE OF US!" Like yes I am dog!

I went to a pride event this weekend and met a bunch of other dogs n cats in their various forms. A complete group of strangers invited me to come sit with them once I asked them where they got their gear from. Someone appeared with a volleyball she had found somewhere in the park and I got to play volleyball again. Playing ball games is very dog affirming to me.

My boyfriend got me a tag to wear when he's not around. I've never felt comfortable being in dog mode (as I call it) around anyone so the fact that he accepts and encourages me to wear my tag and be a dog around him means the world to me. Considering I only have one friend who's an indoor cat so I don't see them very often it's hard for me to find irl community. This website helps me connect to other therians but it's nothing in comparison to laying on someone's lap and biting at their fingers.

Remembering my time in college when I would alert my diabetic friend to blood sugar spikes because they would smell like pear drops. Everyone called me the service dog. Internally my tail was wagging at doing a good job. I was always right

I love that I made this account to help myself feel more comfortable with my therian side and I just completely neglected it. Woops. Anyway now I have a new boyfriend who is very supportive of me being a big dumb dog and I have some more irl therian/otherkin friends I think im more comfortable coming back to this. Taking a rebrand moment cos I've realised I'm so not capable of comfortably age regressing anymore but I think I've found other ways to cope and don't really need it anymore. New name comes from what I used to call my childhood dog. We called him muttley as a nickname but it was in a loving way.

Anyways, times are tough rn, so as always I turn to tumblr to find my weird little communities that nobody really understands in the real world.

I am exactly like a rottweiler in the sense of, I am a large lad, but I will jump into your arms and climb onto your lap, resulting in us collapsing in a heap on the floor and me probably crushing you. I'm a lapdog at heart, but definitely not in size.
